Leroy Rosenior thinks Dejan Kulusevski will eventually transition into a number 10 for Ange Postecoglou’s side and become as good as Kevin de Bruyne.

“His understanding of the game is second to none,” said Rosenior.

“The question you asked. What’s his best position? I think he will end up as a number ten, for me. I think his understanding of the game is second to none.

“The great players just seem to hold in areas for long periods of time and don’t neutralise their own space.

“He is only 23. You mentioned de Bruyne. Could he be that good? I don’t see why not.”

Bentancur exclusive interview: midfielder finding his level again under 'incredible' Ange Postecoglou

It is testament to Rodrigo Bentancur’s dedication that his unavailability due to injury during the early months of Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham revolution did not prevent him from attending training sessions. The midfielder was a regular observer.

"I was still on the same timetable as my team-mates," he tells Sky Sports in a first-floor meeting room at the club's Hotspur Way headquarters. "I tried to stay as close as possible, to follow what they were doing, above all because of the new manager and coaching staff.

Deki - A letter to Spurs fans

Dear Spurs fans,

It’s never been a big deal for me to tell my story. To some people in England, I’m probably still the Swedish guy with the funny name who came over from Italy.

But I’ve spent more than two years at this club now, and I have some things that I’d like to share with you. Some crazy stories. Some life lessons. Maybe some stuff that can inspire a kid or two. It’s funny to look back now, because when I came here, I don’t think many people in England expected much of me.

Ange’s joy at meeting Spurs’ fans with Down Syndrome

Ange Postecoglou has talked of his joy in meeting Owen Bright and a number of other Tottenham fans amid the club’s support for Down Syndrome Awareness Week.

Asked on Friday if providing joy to fans was one of the best parts of his job, Postecoglou replied: “Yes it is, but it is also reciprocal.

“I get a lot of joy out of it too, mate.

“It is not every day you walk out to training and someone runs up to give you a hug. It’s not the usual greeting I get!

“And it wasn’t just Owen. There were quite a few of his friends there and I walked out and saw a bunch of Spurs supporters buzzing. There is no better feeling.

“As much as we understand particularly the players, they are their heroes and the joy they give them, we get equal joy out of it because it’s such a fantastic feeling to see people who are passionate about their football club and how much joy it gives them.

Fulham vs Spurs team News

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that Richarlison is back in contention to play in Saturday's visit to Fulham.

Micky van de Ven, however, is set to miss the game in west London after picking up an injury last time out in our 4-0 win over Aston Villa. He joins Manor Solomon and Fraser Forster on the sidelines.

Ange said on the defender, "Micky is the only (injury concern) from last week. It’s not as severe as his last one - nowhere near as severe; he probably came off at the right time."
