Hello.
Once a year on SC we like to make ourselves feel better with a little (semi)harmless fun by nominating and voting on our fellow SC posters and decide who our winners and, more appropriately, losers have been over the past 12 months. This year, with Manwhore, missing-presumed-bald, I'm taking over running the Spurscommunity Awards (Send your abuse and complaints to the usual address c/o me).
Voting will open next week, but this is your chance to nominate any of your fellow SCers (or even yourself. Don't worry, plenty have already. Including some Mods. tusk, tusk) for their actions over the past year. Good, bad or indeed hideously ugly.
If you want to make sure our Egyptian posters are recognised for those terrific "Mido is better than Pele" threads, or laugh at the memory of "I want vomit on your head" from BgSpurs, or reminisce about the wonders of the Movie Poster Humour Thread. Whatever...its your awards, so its up to you. :)
All you need to do is PM (personal message) me with your nominations.
PLEASE NOTE: You don't need to nominate in all categories. I know there's loads of them (some of which WILL be dropped before the voting depending on voter interest) I'm just preparing the shortlists. Maybe this is a good excuse to check out all the different forums and introduce yourself around the place before casting votes next week.

Here’s the full timetable for this year awards:
Friday 10th November: Categories unveiled. Nominations Opened (post nominations in single thread or pm to me or an other Mod/Admin who can pass it on)
Friday 1st December: Nominations closed. Mods busily count them and prepare shortlists: DEADLINE EXTENDED FOR SPURS CHATTERS UNTIL WEDNESDAY 29TH NOVEMBER
Tuesday 5th December: Shortlists for voting unveiled. Voting commences. ALL via pm to your preferred Mod/Admin
Sunday 17th December: Voting closes
Week Commencing 18th December: Results announced.
