Tottenham Hotspur are close to finalising a deal to sign Lens
teenager Adel Taarabt.

The midfielder has rejected a professional contract with Lens and looks likely to move to White Hart Lane in the New Year.
Reports in France claim the details of the transfer will be concluded within the next fortnight to enable Taarabt to arrive in England in January.
Taarabt revealed he has already visited Spurs and is looking forward to the prospect of linking up with Martin Jol's squad.
"I've been to visit White Hart Lane and I can't wait to be playing there," Taarabt told La Voix du Nord.
"I've had discussions with the coach Martin Jol and he is incredibly keen to sign me."
The 17-year-old has made just one first-team appearance in Ligue 1 as a late substitute against Sochaux back in September.

No worries, Jol knows how to handle these types and if they still play up then he'd sell them. Mido's been good as gold..................so far!

tomo, go to the post that you want to quote from and click the "quote" button in the top right hand corner of it - this creates a new post for you but with the boxed quote at the top of it. :-)
