Ledley King's first thoughts were with our fans after the derby defeat at the Emirates Stadium.

We went down 3-0 via Gilberto's two penalties - both decisions questionable - and Emmanuel Adebayour's opener, a marginal offside decision that went the Gunners' way.
However, as skipper Ledley and boss Martin Jol later conceded, those goals couldn't cloud the fact that we just didn't get started in the game.
"We're all disappointed, especially for the fans," said Ledley. "We know this is the big game for them.
"We were all up for it before the game but we didn't put in the performance we wanted to, simple as that.
"To lose the first goal as we did after 20 minutes put us on the back foot and it became a difficult game for us from that point.
"Everyone is gutted and we just weren't good enough on the day. You get caught up in the game and the emotions of the game and don't always do the right things. We didn't do the things we were supposed to do and we got punished."

We weren`t good enough, thats the fact, zokora didn`t have a good match, im a litle disapointed over him, not just this match, but overall.. dont think he got the tempo in his play, pass to slow:)
Davids would have put some fighting spirit in the midfield

"My first thoughts were for the fans". Was that straight after the game, at half time, after the first goal went in, or just after the entire team started playing like fucking wankers? I did have an idea of going to some away matches this year since I'm now living in the North West but considering you useless twats can't be arsed turning up for away matches I'm certainly not going to bother either. If I had a ticket for the Boro match I woudln't bother cheering. ****s.

Have to agree with that since being bought I have not been impressed with him, in europe he has good matches and at times in the prem when teams give him time but if he is pressurised like on saturday and Vs Bolton he looked flawed.
That said the whole team were shocking on saturday the only good thing to come out of this hopefully is a kick start and we can go on a good run now starting with Boro and Charlton.

As Walworthyid said. If they score in the 20 mins or so we'll
lose the game. Did we turn up ??
Some of the decisions were questionable, but they were more
determined then we were .Win at all costs,We would of taken that, right SC

im more angry than upset and its the first time ive felt like this. We were so piss poor that i cant even be bothered to defend any of the critisism being thrown our way by the arse fans.
tainio showed some determination and jenas was our best player on the pitch when he came on.
zokora has been crap and must be dropped. assou-ekkoto was dreadful but i just dont want to give up on him because lee is worse.
defoe HAS to start. enough with trying to please keane.
My biggest fear is that if we have a mediocre season, our best players will be off. Some of these guys deserve to be playing at the highest level and not with some of the dross theyve had to put up with.
Ledly,Daws,Lennon, defoe. we have about a season to prove to these guys we are good enough to keep them otherwise only a fool will blame them for leaving.

I would like to see Jol throw in our youngsters more often. Dervitte, Dixon, Pekhart, Mills et cetera. Get them in early, force them to grow up so that by 21 they are established and not 'youngsters breaking through'. We had an older, more expensive team and yet we looked like the minnows in an f.a.cup match.
Zokora and King must be allowed to rest and recover. Huddlestone and Dervitte - time to learn your trade at the top level, to become men.
Get Routledge back and that way Lennon and he can be used to rape full backs, put pressure on the weak link and get Lennon or Routledge to have a real go at them, then turn the screw when our player has given his all.
Mr Jol, our left side problem, seems to be worse this year - Comolli needs to iron this crease out, we look poor at left wing and left back. (Although I am prepared to give Assou-Ekotto more time).
Mido needs to get fit and lean and offer us more up front - to give us the Bolton option, if he puts on weight, get in a drill sergent to beast him until he is leaner than celery stick, but also as muscular as a boxer.
Work needs to be done.
davids:rofl: hes the same as zokopops cant pass, hurried off the ball and has panic attacks.jj was the only player who gave something on sat and he only played a half.credit where its due he came back from injury and was still the last man for persies pen.the sooner we realise davids is finshed the better mj included!

We were pissing poor! As much as i love Jol, he confuses sometimes with giving people a chance (save Lennon). It seems to me that if your face doesnt fit, you are either out........ Ziegler....Routledge..... Sold....Kanoute....Edman......Atouba (heart attack player)...Reid.....Sean Davis.....Mendes....Pamarot....or played sparringly....Huddlestone....Defoe.....Ghaly...Dav enport...Tainio And if he likes you, he'll buy you but play you sometimes ...Murphy.... Old man Davids...Mido....YP Lee.... And if you are an upcoming young talent from the academy (or bought young), you have got no chance ...Ifill...Dervite...Defendi?...Barnard...O'Hara.. ..Barcham...Hallfredson (wicked left foot, they said) .... Mills.....Yeates .... and that midfielder that was loaned to Norwich and then sold (cant remember his name).
We have 39 first team players. No doubt we should be able to find 11 out of those to appreciate the magnitude of a north london derby?
I said to my son before the match, I dont care about the result today if we give those arse.... a good game today and get in their faces. What happened? not a thing save when JJ pulled that Lung....... to the ground.
Im still hurting............
