SPURS NEWS
Ledley King expressed his desire to bounce straight back from our derby disappointments when we face Middlesbrough on Tuesday night.
source - official site
Saturday was a game to forget at the Emirates Stadium. Although key moments went against us - two penalty decisions and a marginal offside call - we simply didn't get into our stride and suffered a 3-0 defeat.
Skipper Ledley said: "Everyone was despondent after the defeat but we had words in the dressing room and the manager was quick to point out that we've got another game straight away on Tuesday.
"It's a matter of getting our heads up as soon as possible and that's what we intend to do. Middlesbrough is now a massive game for us and we want to put things right."

We were fed these sort of words before the Gooners game Ledley, its time you got the lads to put your words into action!

Words are cheap! Just sort out your away form Spurs. If we aren't careful that Cardiff cup game is gonna be another humiliation for us all to bare!

We certainly didn't perform on Saturday and it was painful to watch.
Having said that had it not been for 2 wrong penalty decisions (why does the press let Rosicky get away with such a blatant dive?) and one 50:50 offside call going the arse's way, in terms of chances, it was a very even game. They had better possession but didn't create that many chances, certainly not that many more than we did.
Even without Henry and Gallas, Arsenal at home are an extremely difficult team to beat. Zokora had a poor game and I think we missed a fit Jenas, the suspended Ghaly and the injured Davids.
On another point, to all those morons having a go a Jol or the players, get a life! It wasn't Jol's tactics that lost it. Nor was it our players not putting the effort in. At the end of the day it was down to arsenal getting lucky (and cheating of course).
I am all for constructive and illuminating criticism, but venting your own personal frustrations publicly is just pathetic. Let's see how things pan out over the whole season. I personally believe we will manage a top six finish and having the fans behind the team will help that happen.

Quite simply, it is evident we will struggle to get any win away from WHL. Spurs are a 'toothless tiger', lots of potential, but cannot acheive asnything in the PL. I am now looking toewards the Boro game, lets see what Mr Jol does now ... we will not get CL position, only 12 th this season ... will get to semi's in the league Cup ... Yes we will slip up against the Taffys ..... ( should be good for us )

There's only one possible way to get yourselves back in my good books Ledley after that display. Winning against middlesbrough might make you feel like a big man, but all I can see at the moment is a spineless bunch of pricks who let their worst enemies walk all over them.

What is the one possible way?? You set it up but never said what it was...??

My guess is; silverware this season (qualify for Europe assured), three good cup runs that makes the club feel a hint of glory, a good league finish (6th or better so that we qualify for Europe on two counts, with the cup runs, so that it is no fluke) and to thrash Arsenal when they visit us next.
