BAYERN Munich are the latest team to show interest in Tottenham star Gareth Bale.
They have had scouts at a number of recent games and good reports have been sent back to Germany.
Manchester United are also looking at the left-sided ace, 20, after his performances this season.
Much of the credit for Bale’s development goes to Spurs boss Harry Redknapp, who has nursed the Wales international along after a tough start at the club.

This is rubbish.
I'd swap him for a joint package of Lahm and Robben though?

This is what capitalism naturally produces as sports reporting.

I wouldn't be so sure.
They signed Robben for around £20m, Ribery for a shade more IIRC and can blow us out of the water when it comes to wages.
Interesting that the article doesn't mention how much they would bid.
Mind you, the story is probably complete bollocks :-)

Don't Adidas bank role them, if so they can afford whatever they want.
However, I may have just made that up

Dunno, a quick search showed both Adidas and Audi having shares
According to the Deloitte's annual Football Money League, Bayern was the fourth richest club in the world in 2009, generating revenues of €289.5 Million
Mind you, that was on Wiki. They might have made it up.....
