Hard-up Watford will be forced to sell England Under 21 goalkeeper Scott Loach during the summer.

Loach was close to a £2million move to Tottenham on transfer deadline day in January and if Harry Redknapp doesn’t renew his interest Loach has plenty of other admirers at Premiership level.

The Hornets will also lose out-of-contract USA international defender Jay Demerit, who is set to move abroad after the World Cup.

Get him in then loan him out to a prem/champ team for the season. We have Carlo and Gomes, but he has a lot of potential.

I'm from Watford so the 'Orns are my "2nd club", I'm surprised no one went after DeMerit two seasons ago as he has been pretty good for them. As for Loach he's ok but a bit prone to throwing the ball into his own net, would sooner we went after Lewis at Posh.....
