Tottenham man looking towards 'massive, massive game' against Slovenia.
England striker Peter Crouch believes that his team-mates should not allow a poor performance against Algeria to dampen their World Cup ambitions.
The giant striker came on for the last 10 minutes of a dour 0-0 draw with the African side that leaves Fabio Capello's men needing a victory against Slovenia in their final group game on Wednesday to be certain of progressing to the knock-out phase.
But Crouch feels that the squad must look on the bright side having not performed to their full potential so far in South Africa.
"We know we can play better than that but it's not all doom and gloom," said the Tottenham forward. "We've got one game left and hopefully we can bounce back. It was just one of those games where it didn't seem to click. The next game is a massive, massive game."
Crouch also addressed the jeering from England fans at the final whistle, which prompted an outburst from fellow striker Wayne Rooney to a television camera.
"Obviously it's disappointing, we want to give our fans something to cheer about," added Crouch. "We know they made a real big effort to get here and it's a shame we didn't put on a show for them tonight."
