Palermo president Zamparini would accept £28m Tottenham offer for Kjaer & Cavani

Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini has revealed that he would accept a £28 million offer from Tottenham Hotspur to sign duo Simon Kjaer and Edinson Cavani.

The pair, who are currently on international duty at World Cup 2010, have both been linked with moves away from the club and Spurs are believed to have shown their interest in the past.

Zamparani admits he has heard the rumour in regards to Tottenham's interest in both Kjaer and Cavani, who has also been linked with Inter, as well as the figure surrouding the duo moving to White Hart Lane.

"Tottenham are supposedly interested in making a €35 million (£28m) offer for both players," the president stated to TMW. "If the side are actually able to make such an offer as this, I will let the two players leave.

"On Cavani, I can confirm that he is interested in joining Inter, but Moratti has never asked me for the player."

why would we want cavani ? - i don't know how he plays for palermo - but on what i've seen of him at the world cup he'd be worth about £2m tops

i'm no big GDS fan - but i'd rather have him on their respective showings

DC even championship players are worth more then 2 million, you really don't like him, having watched him how many times? Look think of him more as a creator rather then a finisher, or even a hold up player, he has ability. He also is only 23, let's face it talk of strikers such as dzesko and floran are just talk and have a very slim chance of happening, if we do get this player I feel it will mean keane or probably pac are on their way out

hi COYS - £2m is just a throwaway remark - i actually valued him at 10 bob on another thread :-)

no i haven't seen much of him - but to me he's been a non-event at this WC

now if harry gets him in i'll back him, but i'll be staggered if we buy him and i think it'll be a major mistake if we did
