Gudjohnson nears Fulham move.
In light of yesterday’s reports, Eidur Gudjohnson has agreed a move to Fulham if Tottenham fail to offer a new contract this summer. In a report by the News of the World, the striker has said he is frustrated by Tottenham’s indecisiveness as he attempts to prepare for next season. Chairman Daniel Levy is believed to be the only person stopping a permanent deal from being settled at White Hart Lane, while Harry Redknapp is happy to go through with the deal.
Bentley ready for Stoke transfer.
David Bentley could be on his way to Stoke City as manager Tony Pulis continues to express an interest in the Spurs wide man. Second in the pecking order to Aaron Lennon, Bentley struggled to cement a place in the starting XI last season and according to the Daily Mirror, the 25-year-old hopes to leave White Hart Lane this summer in order to pursue his career at another club. But the Potter’s bid to secure Bentley will not be a one horse race as Aston Villa are also reportedly interested in the Spurs winger.
