Spurscommunity: Testers Required
Update 17th January 2012 No one has any display problems? If everything is displaying properly for everyone then it looks like the design is close to being finalised. Just want to get everyone to double-check that everything is displaying as they think it should (particularly that Internet Explorer isn't messing anything up). Cheers Rob
Spurscommunity: Donations and Affiliates Update
I'm just posting this to try and raise awareness a bit as I'm starting to get quite worried about how much SC is costing and how little is being raised through donations, affiliate links and advertising. The site costs £300 every month to run but last month we raised just over half of that and this month we're really struggling :-( This is all a bit surprising/disappointing after how well the site ran during the extremely busy transfer window where we handled thousands
In the aftermath
Well the transfer window is finally over and we can get back to playing football. Despite the massive amounts of negativity on here, which have mostly come from expecting way too much, our squad is better than last year. Despite everyone hoping for a bigger splash in the transfer market, at the very least to lift the atmosphere, on reflection the squad is strong and there are plenty of positives as the window slams shut.
SC Cryptic Crossword
As part of our end-of-transfer-window spectacular, welcome to the first ever SpursCommunity Cryptic Crossword. Below is the grid (note the SC initials ), all you have to do is work out the answers and fill them in. But in true ITK fashion, we've made the clues cryptic. However, in non-ITK fashion, every clue does have an answer. And they come in the form of a players name or a term familiar to anyone who has been following this summers' goings on.
The launch of the 'Y-word' film - THFC comment
Source: Official Site 14 Apr 11 Today sees the launch of the film the ‘Y-Word’, written and produced by David and Ivor Baddiel. We have worked with the creators of the film as we believe it has merit as a starting point for a debate on what is a complex issue in respect of the use of the 'Y word', but more importantly for raising greater awareness throughout the footballing community of the wider issue of anti-Semitic abuse and chanting in football.
