Bayern were extermely lucky.. If it weren't for Rooney's injury or the red card i think United could have put 5 or 6 past them..

They got blitzed (pardon the pun) in the first half an hour, but their 2nd half performance was excellent even before the Rafael red.

bit much if you ask me. i would say rubbing salt into the wounds but i think that just makes the image worse.

The red came very early in the second half. Man Utd created several great chances with just 10 on the pitch. If they had the full 11 im pretty certain they would of won.

Bayern were poor in the second. They kept the ball but created very little with it and had to rely on a bit of magic from Robben to rescue them.
