What will happen to Clattenburg on Monday nothing. The FA should launch an investigation into premier league refereeing on Monday particularly at Old Trafford but nothing will happen because the same corrupt people want Manchester united to win the league because they bring more income into the league than any other team in the league. The fact is Football has become too commercial while there has always been corruption in football the fact is now it benefits the few and destroys the rest of the league since the start while premier league there has only been four different winners. While before the premiership in an 18 year period there had been 7 winners. While before Liverpool's domination it was rare to have any team win it more than twice in a ten year period.

To think that there is no corruption at the FA or in football in the premier league is naive in the extreme.

Please name 1 industry involving so much money that is clean and devoid of corrupt behaviour, let alone football?

How about an industry that allows the England Captain to openly post this, including the name of a work colleague?:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...AT-goal-wasnt-Spurs-boss-faces-FA-charge.html

United defender Rio Ferdinand used Twitter yesterday to answer criticism from Spurs fans, reminding them of their side's controversial goal at Fulham last month. He wrote: 'U weren't piping up when u were at fulham and Tom huddlestone got into the lino n ref about his goal when it coulda been offside?

'By the way I went over to the referee just 2 clarify that he never blew his whistle, I never swore so what's all the fuss about?'

I'm not so sure that the entire FA is actually corrupt, but i suppose it depends on what you class as "the FA". The refs, as far as i can work out, are only definable as the FA in as much as they are employed by them, whereas when i see the words "the FA" i think of the rather bonkers system, applied by a board of apparent lunatics.

In this case, i don't think there's any sort of high-level conspiracy though. Yes, of course they'd like Man Utd to win, as you say they generate a great deal of money for the game in this country, but when it comes down to it i would look more squarely at the individual referee in each case.

As that weasely bastard Styles before him supported Chelseas campaign with many spurious decisions, it appears Clattenburg has a fondness for the Reds. That said, it is also worth considering, though equally as concerning, that Clattenburg just lost his nerve, got confused and the pressure got to him.

Either way, it's worthy of a look-in from some panel or another - was a terrifically bad mistake.

if you want to know about the FA read Tom Bowers 'Broken Dreams', its a brilliant read. the only bad side is, you become very very synical about the FA and Premier League after reading it

The Twat Also Known As Rio clearly needs to take another urine test. If he can remember where to piss this time...

"just 2 clarify" - yup, Rio, that's why you were screaming in Clattenberg's face....

Btw last time I checked, "lino" was something you used to cover your floor if you couldn't afford a carpet...

Reading that won't make me anymore cynical about the FA than I already am. Sadly, I'm getting more disillusioned with our game as each season passes and I can see me getting to the point where I will lose interest almost completely, I wonder if anyone feels similar!?

Not total utter interest RV, just that there won't be much point in watching football as it seems to becoming a vehicle for for a handful of clubs to win all the trophies, while the rest are there to make up the numbers, all the while SKY are promoting it all around the world and coining it in. Eventually the masses will rumble it and will turn their backs on the game or, it will end up like American Football.......

It has been that way since the start of the Premiership I reckon but has it got worse over the years? It has always been Utd, the Goons and more recently Chelski. Only Blackburn broke the mould. I can't see it going the way you describe but can't be sure either. Anyway, I shall continue to enjoy the atmosphere, the footie, the boozers and everything about Tottenham!!

I can nearly guarantee you that you will be more cynical!! Worst case scenario it gives you a whole lot more ammo to hate them!

I'm more cynical of FIFA, the fact that they basically threw out the proposition of using technology, and instead have opted for using more officials (that could possibly be influenced) in the most cash loaded sport on this planet, it's beyond a joke.

Then there was the recent "Cash for votes" scandal regarding world cup votes, corruption at FIFA's obviously been rife for decades.

What we need is a change from the top down, sort out FIFA, get the technology in use, and then the FA will eventually become fairer.

That's if the Mafia would ever allow it of course

Its corruption in the way most industries are corrupt, via the old boy network. Favours for fortunes and all that. The short sightedness of the FA & FIFA will turn this sport into the pillar of respectability that Don King made from boxing
