Just a heads up, amend you post as trying to include the C word in the way you have will get you a warning on this board.
Amended.

They did build the island which the stadium is built on. They also had to remove the contaminated soil. Link it up to power, water etc... Spurs wont have to do any of that. There's probably loads of other things but I will leave that to people with expertise as I know f all about construction.
I've seen David Lammy in the Park Lane end several times - dating back at least five years so he does support the team to a degree, even if he can't pronounce all the names for some reason.
He has to put up a fight to keep the major and most prestige employer in his constituency but I do feel he should spend more of his efforts on getting the council to drop the plan to make us sort out the transport. Do they want us here or not?
Fair point - and let's not even mention Didier Zakora! To be fair some of the posters here can't either eg "Palacious" ????
He is a politician. He is only speaking out now because it looks like his chances of re-election could be in jeopardy. When Spurs had no option but to push for the NLD he did nothing because he could gain nothing.
Instead of a "you are stupid because you can't understand my highly intelligent post" condescending put down, how about being mature and explaining it to me again in different words?
Dude the shitty reply was yours. Where the fuck do you get off asking me to beg?How about you asking nicely in the first place instead of a nasty snide put down expecting me to answer you nicely, now ask me nicely and I'll explain.

A little aside, why is the c word banned but you can put in fuck? Not digging just curious.
Lammy is just doing what anyone as MP for Tottenham would do. He clearly tried to get as much out of us as possible (before he thought we would move) and now he's gone hostile because we seriously are thinking of moving. I for one think Spurs leaving Tottenham will have a massively detrimental effect on an already deprived area and he's understandably trying to prevent that from happening. If I was him, I would be fighting tooth and nail.
One good way of looking at it is this: How often would you visit Tottenham (unless you or mates lived there) if Spurs weren't at WHL? I would never go. However, I do go to Upper St (near Arsenal) and Fulham Broadway (Chelsea).
I think one of the other poster in this thread has stated they've seen him in the Park Lane end several times in the last 5 years.I just can't help thinking, David imagine how much more weight your arguments would carry if you'd ever been to the ground to watch the team play, actually bought a ticket and taken any interest in the club.
I understand that he wants to keep Spurs where they are but lets not mistakenly believe it's got anything to do with the club, it's history or it's fans, it isn't and if a major employer came in to set up shop on the site he'd be pushing us all the way down river to the Olympic Park himself; I'm not saying he's wrong to do that as he's the local MP and has no responsibility for or affiliation to the club whatsoever.
They couldn't care less about the area. BJ was born with silver spoons stuck up his arse as well as rammed down his throat.Everything you say is true and for the record I think Spurs should stay in Tottenham .
Doesn't it say it all though that Boris Johnson and various other politicians of whatever political colour are prepared to sacrifice the area of Tottenham just to give them a less embarassing exit strategy for the Olympic Stadium .
How ruthless can they be ?

99.9% of the time, the C word will be used as a personal insult to somebody whereas fuck has a variety of uses and is generally used to express ones feelings about a certain matter. Very rarely is the word itself used as a personal insult (eg: go away you fuck), whereas the C word is.
Thats my logic behind it anyway!
Fair do's. I will just use the word fanny from now on.
Isn't David Lammy a fanny? Has a certain ring to it, but is not the same
I think one of the other poster in this thread has stated they've seen him in the Park Lane end several times in the last 5 years.
Can somebody actually suggest how David Lammy should have acted instead of calling him the spawn of the devil? There is immense spin on this from both sides. He is acting in the interests of the local community. It is not his job to facilitate Spurs making a fortune.
I also can't believe there are people in message boards debating the name "London Hotspur" as viable??!!
Whatever anybody says "Tottenham" Hotspur was in the main born in Tottenham and for decades I suspect the majority of supporters attending games came from local people. In a poor, deprived borough how many locals can now actually afford a season ticket?
