Now don't get me wrong, I think Levy is doing a sterling job BUT I cannot see a place at the top table with our current owners.

We need billionare owners or a new stadium, and quick.

If we can't pay top salaries, then why?

Until we change this, we have reached our ceiling. Groundhog day.

It's gualling for us late 30s supporters when we remember Spurs being top payers. Chelsea were a Micky mouse club

I really worry about our future and I have a sneaking feeling, last year was our swansong :-(

I think we need fresh blood at the top (ideas and money)

If we had got that blasted Olympic Stadium, most of our problems would have been solved. I like Levy, despite the brinkmanship.

I'm with you

Would have transferred us into arguably the biggest club (revenue) overnight.

The location was immense and I was pro

Isn't there still a chance we may get the stadium or is the revue just to see if we get compensation?

And what if we changed owners and they saddled us with loads of debt, a la the Glazers or Hicks/Gillett? Be careful what you wish for. Id much rather stick with Levy and ENIC. Although sorting out the stadium problem would be fantastic!

I thought it was out the window?

No I was reading that a COYS ITK has said that Levy has his bit between his teeth over the NDP [Edited so Bobbins won't be a little twat].

This is a guy called Edmonton, who has a good reputation on stadium issues

07 June 2011 - 10:32 AM Can't be bothered to disect the lammy interview, I think most on here know the score. However, to cheer you all up, despite what lammy says, Danny is now very focussed on NPD and is seriously trying to make it work. Personally I wish he was more focussed on buying world class players but he seems to have the bit between his teeth on NPD at this moment. From horses mouth.
3 bits of land we need, obvious one being archway steel in paxton. Council could cpo but can't be bothered (no vision/no strategy for the area). Good news is that Danny is pushing hard for a deal with all 3. There are problems but I'm really surprised how much effort is going in to make NPD work asap.

my chelsea mate said to me today, the problem with spurs is that they dont evolve...they need a sheik or a russian billionaire to compete!

how sad it is that his club, bought for £1 in the 1980`s is now the "stereotype" for success in the prem!

w*ankers!

Would be delighted with NPD, I can see the pros and cons for the Olympic Stadium but I didn't want to move there.

I think Levy has done very well in his tenure. We always have money to spend when we need to, we have a new training ground nearly ready, and although we arent close we are nearer to a new stadium than at any time over the last twenty years.

A billionaire splashing the cash might bring us short term glory, but we would lose all the neutral admiration we have garnered over the last few seasons. Plenty of people laugh at Chelsea and their disorganisation, plenty of people detest City and their cash, then look at how the Glazers have piled on the debt, how Venkys have buggered it up, even lerner, who is thought as a generally good chairman, has made some dubious decisions, and we could always end up with a Kroenke who I think isnt interested in putting in his own money and will ultimately just take dividends and find extra revenue streams through Woolwich for his other businesses.

they seem fine to me, remind me how much they spent on players since they changed hands?

yea that's because they are 500ml in debt spending 40ml in one transfer window won't hurt, especially as they haven't spent money in a transfer window in ages, and 2 years ago they made 80ml on 1 player
