Might as well get his own thread right away.

This should be a great move for him, can't wait to see him in the PL.

It's an interesting one. Will he go straight into their starting lineup? At the expense of....? I think he will start on the bench but once he gets his chance that will be it, he will be first choice.

Should be yet more invaluable experience for the lad. Out of all of the youngsters coming through, he is the one who can/will make it with us.

Swansea fans reckon he'll start with williams. Their other main CB is getting old and picks up a lot of knocks. Certainly hope he establishes a place in the team. Will be good following a prem loanee again.

Yeah, Ashley Williams plus Caulker could make for a decent partnership at the back for Swansea.

Williams is strong as an ox, while Caulker has a bit of pace.

Gary Monk and Alan Tate, the other candidates for CB, are ageing/slow. They'll need better than that.

Joe Allen is the other one to watch out for in that team. Will be interesting to see what sort of season he has too.

he sounds like a gangster lolol - however, he comes across very well, looks very promising and am intrigued to see how he will perform with the swans! I'll get to see plenty of him this season

The voice of a future captain! Referees would be too scared to book him,.

Started last night in the friendly against Celtic. Hopefully that is an encouraging sign that he'll get a starting spot when the season starts.

I went to watch the other night. Steve played 65 mins before coming off.tidy enough game without being really extended.
Looks comfortable on the ball and strong in the air. Didn't give samarasmuch of a kick and had good tussle with hooper.
Also had one decent head back across goal from a corner that graham should have done better with.

All in all though, a decent debut and the start of a decent partnership between him and ash Williams. Injury permitting those two should play all season.

As an aside to SC ,Nathan Dyer played well and is very much like lennon direct, quick but final ball or shot needs work!

How fast is Caulker?

Looked comfortable when he was on the pitch with his big stride, although he didn't really need to be usain bolt-like to out run pamaras andhooper. I know it was friendly but Celtic were just going through the motions and showed little attacking ambition.

Hoping to get to a few swans games so Will post when i do

Caulker was apparently a 400m athlete when he was a bit younger. I assume he's got a reasonable turn of pace, but still haven't seen much of him. Hoping that will change now he's in the big time!

I hope to see him against Dzeko. Bristol City are missing him a ton, 6 goals conceded in 100 minutes of play so far this year.
