We have reached agreement for David Bentley to join West Ham United on a season-long loan.

Midfielder Bentley joined us in July 2008 from Blackburn Rovers and has gone on to make 62 appearances, scoring six times. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Birmingham City where he featured 15 times.

Good luck David. Now if you can follow up on Robbie's terrific covert activity in contributing to WHAM's relegation by seeing them drop to the First Division you will have secured your status with the faithful.

This could go 1 of 2 ways. Spanners love a parker style, bust a gut type player....he ain't that. So they might dig him out or boo him.

But they have a few units up top (carew, Cole) few decent balls into them and he could be a hero by October. But good luck to him either way.

Actually he did always try when he was in a spurs shirt, it just work out for some reason or another, I think he will do well there with cole and nouble

Faubert (Bentley 63)

With Lansbury and Noble playing so well in the middle of the park it made the sickening sight of Parker in a Spurs shirt a little easier to take.

Bentley although a slower player than Faubert came on at the right time and looked good on the ball and in what looked like a free role he was given.

Just missed an open goal. Return to base Agent Bentley.

Actually, don't.

I think he'd be a useful addition to the squad personally. That's only on the basis that we have no natural right wingers apart from Lennon and he covered for Lennon in our CL qualifying season when he was injured for that 2 month period.
