I don't think we will (this season at least) but if we won the league I would phone every fan of every other club that I know and just say...

'Can't talk now - we've just won the league!'

and hang up again before they could say a word.

All this talk of winning the league is a little ahead of ourselves. At the end of the day i cannot see us catching City now or in the future - it is just dumn luck that our best team in 50 years happens to coincide with the City revolution. On the positive side however it is great to watch a team win on a regular basis and see the talent on display. Wherever we end up this year it's already proving to be a great year to remember.

If we win the league, we should build a statue of Harry outside the new ground.

They have a race for fourth thread over on Redcafe, quite a few think we'll do it but this comment stuck out like a sore thumb!:

Never underestimate Spurs capacity for a spectacular collapse.

The thing is Pinky, it is so true.

But, I just ahve a feeling that this group of players is different to the previous ones.

I know mate but I totally agree with you, this group of players is much different to those of the past.

They have a point though. However Parker seems to have made a huge difference...not just to the way we play, but our overall mentality.

Anyway...it's a long season, and there will more highs and lows to come in the coming months. I'll be ecstatic if we finish 4th, let alone higher, so whilst I'm loving how things are right now, I'm only thinking as far as West Brom on Saturday.

This team is maturing beautifully. Plus Scott Parker will make a huge difference. As will Adebayor.

Is there a better central midfield pairing than Parker and Modric in the Premier League? I doubt it.

Kaboul and King are tremendous at CB. Even if the inevitable happens and King is out for months again, Gallas can step in to play alongside Kaboul.

We've got pace on the counter attack.

Bale's now coming back into the form of 2010. And we have a striker up front who will score more than he misses, hopefully.

So yeah, in the past we would no doubt collapse. But this time could be different. (Please please please!)

Anyone who slated Harry's ability if we ever won the league would obviously be a WUM or a twat who knows nothing about football. However, some just don't like him as a person so they would still slate his inability to control his mouth in a media situation.

Despite a quite excellent performance last night, we all know the second we don't play the perfect 90 minutes, he'll be slated again by some. There's discussing bad tactics after the game and there's picking pointless arguments because they don't like Harry. Guess we'll just have to get used to it.

On a separate note, I was actually slightly disappointed that there weren't more pro Harry songs last night considering what he's been through. Even when the Villa fans were chanting about tax, there was no immediate response from us, though we eventually responded with 2-0 down to the same tune. Harry obviously hasn't got the same likability factor as Jol for example, which surprises me a little.

Anyway, if we win the league, I'll suck off every single person on here. I can't see that happening. If we finish top 3, I'll stand outside my house naked for a 2 minute applause. I'll be absolutely ecstatic with top 4.

I know they do, that's why I included it

You're quite right though mate, one game at a time is the best approach.
