I hope AVB makes it to the Spurs game.
I hope he is sacked before our match - we always seem to offer respite for under pressure teams and coaches - just look at Chelsea's upswing in form following our 1-1 draw with them last December.

But Chelsea will have to play their first team against Valencia in the middle of this schedule: Liverpool, Newcastle, Valencia City. Smelling blood.

Lovely skill from Boateng for his goal.

Great goal, and you can tell that Jeff Stelling hasn't watched Milan for over a year, he has no idea that the Prince has made a habit of scoring wonder goals for Milan.

Yeah, I presume I'm not alone in thinking we might have missed a trick with this one? Quality... Mind you, how's the rest of his game?

Just watching the Chelsea highlights.

First half action - Bayer hit the bar, and thats it.

Just like Citeh, last night, all that money and still produce shite.

He's definitely turned into a good player, but he burned his bridges with us thinking he was a big-time Charlie who'd made it (paraphrasing his own words), and Ramos not giving him a squad number or anything just made matters worse. He would never have been able to reach this level had he stayed with us.

We're likely looking at Napoli, Man Utd, Chelsea, Milan, and Marseille as group runners up. Round of 16 could be amazing this year.

+1

Although I think he would have settled in our current group.

He seems to have improved but so have we so ironically he'd still notbe good enough for us.

Still think we'll have Chelsea and City in the Europa with us, you stick to your guns AVB don't change a thing.
