Thought Livermore dispelled any of the "not good enough" comments tonight.

seems a really accomplished technically gifted player who seems to glide over the ground. got a few decent foot in's (feet in's, feets in?) tonight.

Daws slotted in nicely with no real dramas, interesting to see who Harry uses when all fit (if ever)

comfortable really but you can only beat what's in front of you*

*which city couldn't do without their better players against an average Liverpool tonight...

Either Modders or Benny, I voted Luka because everyone's going to go for Disco.

Was between Rafa, Benny, Livermore and Daws for me, know Benny or Jake will win it but some of the passes from Rafa were delicious

Awesome goal by BAE, but my MOTM goes to Van Der Vaart who was fantastic today and unlucky not to score a cracker of his own aswell

Freidel 7 - Default didnt do anything really
Walker 8 - Good performance i stilll dont think hes that great going forward tho sadly
Kaboul 9 - Man mountain he cracks me up tho hes a playmaking centre half no exageration he brings it out of defence beats men as if hes a winger then plays lovely passes like hes a centre mid he has got to be the best all round player at the club for raw attributes.
Dawson 9 - Honestly didnt look like he had been away and hes shut me up! i didnt think we could play football with him in the back four but he did not hoof it once today brilliant by him and him younes looked solid!
Ekotto 10 - 1 assist and a goal by a left back says it all this guy is a fantastic player he does have his odd moment of madness but hes been blooming terrific for 3 seasons now he needs a new contract soon! he cant half hit them too! he only scores against the scousers too!
Lennon 8 - Nice to have him back always a danger and goal goal very clever finish nice to have him back
Livermore 10 - Excellent proved hes an upgrade on jenas played very well nice & tidy and good strength and brilliant composure also coupled with a great turn of pace he probably has not got the passing range of luka or legs desire of parker or the long range passing of hudd! but hes the type of player man united win leagues with a brilliant utility player thats happy to be back up at his boyhood club! and never looks out of place would love to see his passing stats! for today!.
Modric 9 - Brilliant needs a new contract
Bale 9 - Always a threat a bit greedy at times today but did well made everton scared by popping up everywhere created space for everybody!
Van Der Vaart 10 - Brilliant what a player runs everything
Adebayor 8 - Careless infront of goal always trying to score a great goal. But holds it up brilliantly!

Pav N/A - Looks asif harry brought him on to say bye to the fans
Pienaar N/a - But looked bright!

Overall - my favourite performance of the season i hate everton and we wiped the floor with them!

Man Of the match - Cant choose but i think its going to be livermore as we did not miss parker or sandro!

Friedel 6 had sweet fa to do.

Walker 7.5 thought he had a great game and maybe one of his best defensive performances of the year. Also had a decent cross or two tonight as well. Very well done

Dawson 7 for me he is just a good backup as King and Kaboul would easily be starting for me, just too slow to beat the best of the best. Saying that I love the guy as a backup and always gives 100% which is refreshing to see

Kaboul 6.5 marshalled well but should have been a penalty on a silly tackle on Drenthe.

BAE 9 MOM what a performance from Benny. Great strike, even better cross field ball for Lennon and didn't give Donovan a sniff at goal.

Lennon 8 thought he was slow to get started but the goal was huge,(something he has a knack of doing for us) and he and Walker look much more comfortable together on the right than VDV and Walker do.

Livermore 8.5 what a game from the young lad. He really did show me a lot tonight, went toe to toe with Fellani and Cahill and held his own and then some. More than ok with him subbing in for Parker and Sandro when needed.

Modric 7 thought he was pretty quiet and Cahill did a pretty good job on him tonight. Really says a lot about our team right now that our best midfielder was held in check and we won handily.

VDV 8 just is always looking for that incisive pass and we need that as we tend to just play keep away at times and lose our momentum. If Everton didn't block like 4 or 5 good shots I think VDV probably scores from one of them.

Bale 7.5 not his best night but he just opens things up for us with his pace so others can be free to have a little space.

Ade 7 really puts in a shift and I wish Pav could see how it is done and replicate it as even though he doesn't score he keeps things moving as is always looking to get others involved.

Subs

SP not a whole lot to do but still is a nice player to bring in off the bench if you ask me, dependable and faster than I thought. I wouldn't want him starting but off the bench and for cup games he is fine with me

Pav Not enough time but I can't wait to get rid of him and start fresh with another striker, he just isn't good enough for us and I don't wish him any ill will just need to get rid of him so we can bring in a youngster to learn off of Ade and Defoe if you ask me.
