Translates for non-BC speakers: I decided imediately that I didn't like Walker, so now, whenever I see him, I remember only what he does wrong as it confirms my estimation of him

you look for negatives guess what you'll see...

My fucking GOD! Walker is only 21, his first proper full season in the top flight give him a break, I really dont get how people can be so bloody short sighted. BAE has been one of our most consistant players in the last 2-3 seasons end of, you cant have 11 players with Messi's vision and ability.

Hehehe spot on. I've seen oil tankers make a u-turn quicker!

Walker can definitely improve his whipped crosses, but he also does get his head up, and has delivered some lovely pullbacks this season.

Benny is also somewhat wasteful. He does love to dummy the cross and come inside the fullback, but what he doesn't understand is that it makes it very hard for the strikers to time their runs when he does this, although by now VDV shold always realise that he should hang back and go nearpost for the pullback.

Walker's initial attacking tactic, which worked so well at the beginning of the season, is getting found out a bit now, partly because he tends to telegraph what he does so openly but he is a very young player, who has been excellent so far this season and with a lot more still to learn.

Defensively, he's fine imo. Occasionally gets beaten but who doesn't? Been a part of a mostly very solid defence and again, still learning. Its not like we're hemorrhaging goals from his side is it?

He's added a very different dimension to Corluka and also meant we thankfully never have to see Hutton in the lilywhite again so I'm happy.

A fair assessment - saying he isn't shit doesn't mean you are saying a 21 YO with much improvement in him is the greatest right back in the World.

Translation for non SP Speakers: In three years time I too will reluctantly accept that Walker possibly, maybe isn't the next Cafu in waiting.

As you can see, I have declared Walker the new Cafu in this post, directly above BCs.

Could have been worse...could have said Alan Hutton was :eek:mg:

Just disappointing all round, but the results tends to just affirm my hatred of having to play Wolves every season than giving me much insight into our own performance.
