I thought Livermore played his best game in a spurs shirt

Sandro too was good as was Lennon.

Ade and Saha were decent in attack and Modric was good without being at his spectacular best.

We played well, we came up short. No point dwelling, we simply must win our next two games now.

3rd is clearly the best we can hope for and I bet not a soul would still claim they wouldn't take it now. Arsenal are breathing down our necks hard and we have slumped to a 2 game losing streak with two very tricky away games up next.

Everton and Chelsea are must wins

Friedel - 7

Walker - 6
Kaboul - 7
King - 7
BAE - 7

Lennon - 8 - MOTM
Livermore - 7
Sandro - 7
Modric - 5

Saha - 6
Adebayor - 7

I don't want to criticise Harry today, except that he waited to long to make his subs as per usual. Picked the right team given the personnel available, set them out to play the right way and pressure United, and with a bit of luck it would've paid off. But we never get that luck against United, and they can be amazingly clinical when they get even half a chance.

Defence - 5 (I hope Walker isn't fully fit as he's getting worse)

Midfield - 7 (Lennon played well)

Strikers - 5.5 (Defoe did well, shame he was only on 10 mins)

Redknapp - 2 (No tactical changes or subs - when they were needed and spent the majority of the match sat on his arse day dreaming).

Adebayor-4 absolutely disappointed with his last few performance...really thought he'd be the answer for us winning these sort of games.

Redknapp-4 poor tactics he has to derive a system that allow us to win these game. We're not even close in these big game we get rapped.

Just seen the goals again - new right back please.

It often crosses my mind that we could do with better fullbacks, to be honest. Hopefully Walker will improve enough because I don't think top fullbacks are easy to find. Maybe we should tap Sagna up.

Early season he was full of enthusiasm - always bombing forward/taking on his man. Defensively, his positional sense was a bit astray but his pace always got him out of trouble.

The last few matches, he's rarely got forward and when he has - his crossing has been damn right awful. Defensively, his man marking has been pathetic. Like today, he wasn't even paying attention when Rooney scored.

I think Walker may have been played into the ground.
I hope he's rested against Stevenage but we don't have much back up for his position.

Same as Omar's but would have Livermore on 7, Sandro on 7 and Adebayor on a 6.

We should play a youth team player at RB vs Stevenage.

I am generally in the pro-Walker camp.
But I did think at the start of the season that we should have went with Charlie, and used Walker for cup games/back up, at least until Christmas.

Has a lot to learn, still.
