This was the target at the beginning of the season, even though pretty much every single pundit around gave us no chance of getting 4th.

It was so close to being better, but we got the 4th spot we were aiming for, so overall a successful season.

Now, I'm off to buy a Bayern top for next weekend ;-)

Top 4. If it wasn't for Chelsea being in the CL final we'd all be a lot happier. It was in our hands last week at Villa but truth be told we should have wrapped it up a while back.

Whatever happens in Munich, I've had a great time. Went to my highest amount of Prem home games this season (16) and only missed the others because of work commitments. It's been a rollercoaster of a season but I've enjoyed it immensely.

I couldn't have predicted a thing this season. If Bayern win on Saturday it will be the icing on the cake. We deserve CL football next season.

Oh and thanks to all you lot on here. You've made it entertaining as well. I can't wait for the next ride that is the summer transfer window.

Bring it on!

Yep mirrors what I believe.

Shame I couldn't attend any games this season though  , 16 is a good effort!

Man, if Fulop wasn't such a fucking twit we'd have had third on Sunday. He virtually gifted them all three goals.

True

But then again, we did drop a 13 (I think) point lead over Arsenal

We shouldn't really be relying on Martin fucking Fulop to save our bacon :)

I know. It's galling how we fucked this up. 1 win in 9. Our worst sequence of away results for 5 years.

Also From ManC, ManU, Arse & Chelsea we took 5 points from 24.

This is what has pissed me off the most this season. How can we ever challenge for the Premier League with such a poor record against the top teams? Assuming Harry stays, we really need to do so much better and I'm sick of us not turning up for the big games. 3 times this season we conceeded 5 goals in a match which needs to be addressed.

Not like you, BC...next we know you'll be saying shocking-goddam-awful-pants refereeing decisions also contributed to us not getting third :eek::eek:

I know, it really did hurt watching that.

I blame Foster, hadn't missed a League game all season - lets be honest, we would of finished third had he been between the sticks on Sunday, another cruel and incredibly unlucky twist for us.

Still, only have ourselves to blame really - trying to blame West Brom and their goal keeper is a bit like getting a wrong decision for a corner and not defending it properly for the goal!

Twice Arsenal's champions league status has been pending on the final day and twice in one way or another something dodgey has taken place to save them

Of course we only have ourselves to blame and to be fair, Arsenal's shit defending on the day let West Brom score two. It's always something shit that leads to goals, it's just more obvious when the keeper does it.
