good purchase for chelsea, they should be mega competitive if they land a top striker now, 3 way race for the title.

if we can get some really good 1st team players, that push some of current 1st teamers to 'squad' status then we should be able to compete for 4th with arsenal and have a real go at europa

Sans Hulk, I could see Hazard playing the VdV role to Torres' Ade, with Mata, Meirleles, Ramires in front of Lampard & Essien.

You raise a good point but it wouldn't really surprise me. Chelsea want to get back in with the big boys again and they will spend money to revamp the squad. Lukaku and De Bruyne will be loaned out I reckon. Sturridge will get playing time up top as understudy to Torres. Marin is nothing more than a squad player.

De Bruyne is a deep lying midfielder now.

Hazard wants the number 10 role he keeps saying, and to be first choice - he's not going to get that at United with Rooney there, City don't really play with a number 10, so one of Tevez or Aguero would have to be dropped, and Chelsea don't really have anyone there except Mata, who usually plays wide anyway.

It would probably look like
--De Bruyne --- Ramires
Hulk ----- Hazard------- Mata
------------Torres

However since my 9 year old spent over an hour sobbing after they'd fluked their way to be CL winners I now despise them even more! Classless scum.
