Good move both for Chris and for Norwich in my opinion. Hope he does well if he signs (except against us).

Delighted for him. He's done a fantastic job at both Newcastle and Birmingham, and has earned the right to manage again in the Premiership.

Good luck to Chris, personally would of liked to see him at a club willing to spend around 5mill in a season

Great stuff, another in the eye for all those who said he can't coach.

As has been said above I wish him the best of luck apart from when he is up against spurs.

For the record:
Last time the Clipboard joke was mentioned on SC was 18 months ago: on December 13, 2010.

Looks like Chrissy has finally turned the page

Looking down the thread list, I thought the title was going to finish with 'for take-off'.

Well done, Chrissy.

Ian Holloway being touted to takeover at Brum already. Thought he was Swansea bound though.

Any manager currently in a job would have to be nuts to take the Birmingham job, with all that's going on behind the scenes.

Agreed, chris someone has managed to steady a ship that included 32 transfer in and out of the club whilst spending pretty much £0 all season and some how get them to fourth

Love Chrissy Hughton. Was hoping he'd go to WBA though. Norwich will be a very tough job - there's no way there's 3 worse squads of players in the PL than them, and Lambert's job was a miraculous one. Good appointment for Norwich as I can't think of many attainable targets for them with a better chance than our Chris of keeping them up. Would love him to do well - very much deserves the opportunity after working miracles with Newcastle and Birmingham.

Good luck to him, but when he says he wants to keep hold of stars like Holt, I am kind of happy that he left Spurs.
I want to see managers who have a sense of what a good team is. When you are appointed as a new manager, you would like to bring in your own players, and make it easy for yourself, or what?

Cashing in on a player like Holt would not be a bad idea. You can get some good money for him, and splash the cash on some players you have been tracking in resent years.

And of what ethnicity would these players be, SK?
