I buy the shirt every couple of years (or when I really like the kit) and very rarely wear it. Only to football training really.

However, even if I'm not going to buy it, I'm still really interested in the kits we put out every year.

Also, agree with Mr Pink above re the subtle look.

I find it hard to get worked up or excited about this, due to being
a) over the age of 15
and
b) not a chav

You are so cool.

I was getting out of a taxi tonight after playing football in a spurs shirt and a lad started talking to me randomly because I had a spurs shirt on. Turns out he's been in Kuala Lumpur just two months, a month less than me and now we're gonna meet up for beers when the season kicks off.

Nothing wrong with it, but we get chumping comments from funny fuckers like you in these threads every year.

I'm always excitied to see the kit my team will be playing in next season and I too only get the shirt every couple of years if I like it. I rarely wear them out anywhere... If I wear one to a game I usually go for the vintage look, last season I stuck almost exclusively to the Hummel 85-87 shirts, home, away and third (I love a pinstripe me(y)).

Obviously I stay well away from supermarkets on match days, just incase someone from the internet pops up and calls me a chav;).

As much as I personally wouldn't wear a football shirt outside of a physical activity I think it's very harsh to suggest adults who wear football shirts must be chavs as I know that's not the case.

Like others have said, I love to see what the team will be wearing throughout the season also.

Love when the new kits come. Not just the spurs kits but all the new kits.

Secretly want us to be sponsored by Umbro.

We appear to be the last team in the country to unveil our new kit.

Annoying.

And sponsored by London Pride?

Would rather Holsten :p lol. Just a big fan of Umbro these days. Think their kits and training wear are great and reasonably priced in comparison to Nike and Adidas.

Umbro are owned by Nike.

Nike took over United for global appeal. They kept Umbro as England make for tradition only.

player versions though because of all the biometric shizzle.

No more shirt swapping at the end of games then, having said that I don't think Joe Hart will be downloading Brad's data in a hurry, I mean what's he going to do with a flat line, unless he's putting up a new bookcase.

Happend a few years ago didn't it? And I think Nike are selling them now. Think the tailored series of products look great.

Haven't worn a ( current) Spurs replica shirt since I was about 10. Had a 1970's one a few years ago, wish we would go that simple again. Prefer something more subtle like a polo with a small cockerel.

Chav / 15 years old? Not me, just a 36 year old fan who loves his club. To be honest, my last seasons black shirt looks shit hot with a pair 3 quarter length beige trousers.

Wearing your teams football shirt does not make you a Chav, being a Chav makes you a Chav, likewise just because you don't wear the shirt for any use other than sport, doesn't mean you're definitely not a Chav.

I hate how this topic always descends into snobbery and labelling everyone Chavs and scum just because they may choose to wear a football shirt in public.
