Hopefully Chris Hughton will do us a favour and help Harry's progression. I'm not sure how many games he will get, and he seems the type of player who needs to connect with his team mates to maximise his ability. If he can get in the starting eleven, then he can really progress.

This seems a slightly mental move given our shortages up top at the moment.

Also, Norwich have a fair few striking options so it will be tough for him to get game time.

It's a surprising one. I thought we would have kept Kane and given him some playing time in the Carling Cup and Europa League.

However, I'm sure Hughton still has strong links with some of the backroom staff at Spurs, and I very much hope that we only let HK go to Norwich after receiving assurances that he would be involved in their first team squad regularly.

I wonder if we have a recall clause in January, in case we need him for the second half of the season.

Wouldn't surprise me to see if he gets played in midfield, and in the number ten role. Probably try to find a spot for him as I quite don't think he has the attributes to be a top striker.

No 10 role is definitely one which he could make his own, especially in a 4231 role. Has been seleected to play in midfield roles, including a deeper mid role for E u 19's in front of other specialist mids, so presumeably CH will play him in mid and no 10 role.

I had thought he would stay at Spurs playing Europa/domestic cups etc plus u 21 league - and seeing if he can play up top at u 21 these levels.

Agree with your points here. Surely Kane would have got some game time for us in the UEFA - so whilst assurances at top level are hard to come by, i'm sure there is some sort of agreement that they can give him some matches.

Let's not forget, the prem is a step up for HK, so he'll need to bide his time a bit. Fingers crossed he keeps developing.

That's a good point.
It may 'only' be Norwich but they're quite a step up from Millwall. It'll be an interesting season for Kane and while he may not be the striker that many posters on here hope, he's a good football player and is plenty young enough to learn.
I'm still keeping my hopes up for the lad.

There is more chance of him making the Norwich bench for Premiership matches than ours and if he can make the Norwich bench he will have chances to come off the bench.

All in all better chances of development

One premiership goal and he'll be flavour of the month. Unfortunately, I have a feeling Norwich have taken him for cup games.
