Would take a draw - think we have now have some very tired players.

Bale - looked out on his feet.
Dembele - looked to be lacking match fitness.
Sandro - needs a rest?

Wonder if Parker will get a run out?

Time to start young Carroll.

Going to be a short and quick passing game and midfield will be hard to control - Fulham are no mugs - I think it might be a little unfair on Tom C. maybe as sub?

I certainly hope we'll be looking a bit more positive against Fulham than what was the case yesterday. It's almost suicidal to stand off our opponents like we did, and Fulham are more likely to make the most of their opportunities, unlike Liverpool. Fulham have been shit lately, but to be fair so have we. Lucky yesterday, and West Ham were dogshite when we met them.

I think a draw away at Fulham would be a decent result, although I obviously hope we'll win. The most important thing here is not to lose!

Fulham are in poor form, 1-5-3 in their last 9 games.

But, as you say, our most important players are either looking a bit jaded or coming back from injury. Plus, a draw at Craven Cottage is a decent result any season. I really wouldn't like to call how this will go.

Hangeland's serving the last match of his suspension against us, so that's a plus.

Yeah, and they are missing Kacalinic and Ruiz as well.

I dont think we stood off them. After 30 minutes we just couldn't get the ball off Liverpool andwhen we did we paniced and gave it away.

We really need to re-learn the art of decent posession football.

I'd take a draw now, these runs of games are where lack of quality squad depth can hurt teams like us, be it through inferior performances due to first-teamers getting fatigued or by picking up damaging injuries. Fingers crossed we won't suffer either, but it's concerning.

Take a draw against a club that is missing 3 key players, has 1 win in 9, is 6 points and 6 places below us? Some of you lot are mental

I think we didn't press them at all. We let them come at us and made no effort to get the ball back. They only kept the ball well because of that fact. Liverpool did a good job hassling us whenever we won the ball, and that almost always resulted in a loss of possession. We played well the first 30 minutes, the last 60 I thought we were pretty dreadful.

We actually took those draws against worse placed opposition at home. And lost to Wigan. Now that's mental.

And we beat United away, now that's mental. We also won 3-1 at Fulham last year, I don't understand why anyone would willingly lose out on a potential 2 points, especially to a team below us

Disagree their centre midfield is really unsettled this season whereas the the front 4 look brilliant, he should play as Hudd has looked woeful compared to his standards pre injury

Fulham will raise their game for us so the rest of their recent form should be ignored. They're weaker now that they lost free scoring Dempsey, & Dembele, although brought Berbatov in whose doing ok. I think what they'll have more than us is a desire to win that particular game. Whether that will be enough remains to be seen because otherwise we're a lot stronger.

Will Berbatov come back to haunt us as the ex-player?

Who will be the centre half pairing to deal with him?

As long as Dembele plays, we win.... So just play him and any other two and we'll be fine!

Ok seriously, i think sandro needs a rest and siggy is well .. crap. So i'd play hudds (who's also crap and slow, but his hair distracts the opposition) Carroll and dempsey first half and bring on dembele second half for hudds and maybe siggy for dempsey? ;)

Willingly? We're fans, ffs; none of us play on the pitch, although we say 'we'. It's evaluating chances.
We didn't take the draws v Norwich and WBA beforehand, but our beloved team did.
Also, we didn't cover ourselves with glory by defending 60 mins against a Liverpool side that had 5 shots on goal and didn't even managed to score themselves.
Oh, the last time I checked Fulham are 1 pts above Liverpool, Norwich and 3 above Wigan.
They do leak goals, they miss 2 key players, but still they managed to score three at the Emirates and get a point off Chelsea.

The 3-1 game last year made me bite my nails up to my feckin elbows. It was tough.
And I don't expect it to be any easier this time around.

They will be missing their two best creative talents in build-up with Ruiz and Kacaniklic expecting to be out. They haven't scored a goal since they have been out. Berbatov is a threat but he's not nearly as dangerous when he's the only player that's really capable of being that creative hub.

It will be a tough match, but it could be a lot tougher if Ruiz/Kacaniklic were available.
