Not all bad though. BBC :

'Norwich refused to be rattled, but a side deprived of both injured main strikers Grant Holt and Steve Morison struggled to create chances.
Despite a willing display from on-loan Tottenham teenager Harry Kane, they lacked punch and presence up front and West Ham cleverly stifled the main creative threat from the ever-lively Wes Hoolahan.'

Should have won a penalty as well.

As I said a few posts above before this match, it might take a few games to get back intoi his stride after a long layoff - looks like other injuriesv have forced Norwich to start him rather than bring him back more gradually.

The injury has set him back which is a huge shame but hopefully he will get a chance to play more during the second half of the season, I really do think he could be a very able squad player for us in the future - think of him as our potential Wellbeck, which isnt a bad thing if you ask me.

'Kane is as much of an aerial threat as a goldfish and as much of a threat in behind the defense as a sloth, and a kitten could shoot better than him......'

I don't think they rate him.

To be honest, he isn't a lone striker, maybe he could do a job as a false '9' but that requires a certain style of football that I don't think Norwich (or many teams) can play.

I was surprised he went to Norwich given their attacking options so it will be interesting to see if he can get back in the side and start producing good performances too.

Sounds like they're almost as fickle as us. They seemed pretty chuffed with his progress before the injury.

They have a while to go before they meet our stupidity, I mean many claimed he wasnt good enough for League 1 last season

Kane played the first 45 mins for Norwich v Luton - Luton (now in Conference) scored in the second half to beat Premiership Norwich. Hope the run out in the first 45 minutes was a sign that Kane getting back into norwich team after his injury.

He had a few good moments in the first half - in particular a great touch and shot that was deflected behind off the defender. But getting subbed off at half time for Grant Holt may not have been too great a sign.

From BBC:

Norwich, lacklustre in the opening 30 minutes, improved and had opportunities through Simeon Jackson and Harry Kane before Leon Barnett struck a post and saw his rebounded effort cleared off the line.

The Hatters, beaten FA Cup finalists in 1959, were resolute though and coped with the powerful presence of striker Grant Holt, who was brought off the bench at half-time by a desperate Norwich boss Chris Hughton.

Kane subbed at halftime does not sound positive for him... echoing dn013 here (y)

Harry Kane returns to us following his recall from a loan spell at Norwich City. Young defender Zeki Fryers has also joined from Standard Liege, linking up with the Club’s Development Squad.

seems a week late?.... but not too late - let's see if he gets an opportunity... C'mon Harry!! :watching:

He didn't get much game time at Norwich, I doubt he will be starting any game for us but I think this is the best chance he has of getting any game time before Ade comes back.

Daily Fail:

Striker Harry Kane goes back in to the squad following his recall from a loan spell at Norwich while midfielder Lewis Holtby could make his full debut following his transfer from Schalke.
Provisional squad: Lloris, Friedel, Walker, Naughton, Dawson, Gallas, Vertonghen, Caulker, Assou-Ekotto, Lennon, Sigurdsson, Livermore, Dempsey, Parker, Dembele, Huddlestone, Holtby, Bentley, Bale, Defoe, Kane.
pinch of salt of course,... we'll see on Sunday :mask:
