If I can allowed to be negative for a moment, I think it's worth noting that Ade looked like someone had just offered him a round the world coach trip at a discount price when Bale's goal went in. Meanwhile, every human being with an ounce of Spurs in their blood was going through the roof.

He couldn't care less, ship him out in the summer please.

My daughter is due on Sunday (bad timing i know) but i'm seriously considering 'Bale' as a middle name. Fortunately for the baby i don't think the missus will go for it.
Tell her "Bale" is gaelic for beautiful, and that the 7th century Princess Bella daughter of Llwylyn the lesser is actually a latinisation of her true gaelic name "Bale". Or, alternatively, persuade her to accept the name "Belle or Bella" and then write "Bale" when you (make sure you do it) register the birth, and when she asks wtf?, tell her that's what you said all along. I did something like that with my kids and it worked.

Russell Brand can you hear me?

Ray Winstone, Danny Dyer, James Cordone, your boys took a hell of a baleing.

Even with Agent Parker and agent Adebayor.

To the tune of their shitty song;

You're forever fucking leads up, pretty leads that look secure, you flew so high, even reached 2-1 made you believe you could have won.
Arsenal will be shitting, Chelsea twats will too, you're forever fucking leads up for pretty points you'll never see.

AHHHH!!

Fair play to Spam even if they are ****s. Made it hard for us. Jarvis was excellent. Hippo Head has a point about Dembele as well, lucky not to get sent off across that 2nd half

If Howard had booked West Ham players for their first offences they wouldn't have finished with eleven men. That incident with Joe Cole he highlighted was barely a foul, and I'm not sure how he can consider a clearance as 'booting the ball away'. He's just clutching at straws because, like I said, he's a bitter, sore-losing ****. Dembele did nowhere near enough to be sent off tonight.

Soo funny when they were 2-1 up it was all doom and gloom, looking back on it now we could of won 5-2 :D.

Jääskeläinen had a fantastic game. Lloris didn't have a serious save to make and couldn't have done anything with the goals. If Tom Daley had pulled off a dive like Carroll's he'd have got gold last summer.

Great save from Taylor when he was clean through.

AVB knows how to use a squad, the guy is a very astute manager for his age. We're very lucky to have him.

He needs to give Dembele a break - I just think he is getting overworked / stretched playing next to parker who is beginning to annoy me. Great to see him take a risk with Carroll again, who I really rate as cover for dembele.

The big issue is whether he will start using livermore... more..! Honestly, I never thought I'd say anything positive about him, but parker is so suspect at the minute, and Livermore seems to like the young up and coming squad feel we have going on. Much more confident.. probably the AVB effect though again.

This is very true, he looked like his mum had just called him in for tea. Disappointing really and I believe that we will see him leave in the summer.

Anyone at the game tonight and hear any anti-semitic chanting or references to the incident in Lyon from the Spammers? Friend of mine's doing some research for an American newspaper on the subject...
