We need to call him back from the loan if we can. We need him right now.

Just try to be thankful that he's getting more time at QPR than he would have had he stayed here. I questioned the move when it happened given our lack of depth, but I'm happy for Townsend and what he's done for his career with the loan spell.

It's easy to say it's a failed loan move given hindsight being 20/20, but the kid's been a revelation for QPR. Let's just hope we can figure it out with the guys we have and that Bale's injury is only a 2 week deal.

Townsend completed 13 dribbles out of 16 attempts. That is unreal.

Also had 2 interceptions and completed 4/5 tackles.

The kid is a good player who does it at both ends.

Watched the QPR game, and a lot the game was give the ball to peanut.

Really wanted him to score the free kick, it wasn't far off.

Great cover for Lennon.

Townsend on the left
Bale in behind the striker central
Lennon on the right

If we could get in a striker equally quick we would have the quickest front four in the Prem and probably in Europe! LIGHTNING!

Remy? Not as the marque, but may not be a bad option. In fact Remy, Benteke, Ade next year wouldnt be too bad, and not too slow either.

If our three strikers next three are those I wouldn't mind.

Still holding out hope on a "big signing" but seems unlikely.

Left winger but almost 2 footed - made his debut for Spurs as a right winger, scored a goal and MOTM.
