Australian rules football, who watches this? I have been in australia 7 years and watch bits an pieces here and there but just can't enjoy a full game.

Am I ignorant, because I am in Australia do I have to appreciate this?

Thoughts?

I played Australian Rules back before my son was born. I loved the sport although coverage here wasn't always easy. And I haven't had time in at least 5 years to even keep up. But it's a great game. The Demons backed our club so that is who I have always followed closest.

Ahh the Demons. They are not travelling well at the moment. They are a proud club and its sad to see where they are at now. They remind me a bit of Forest to be honest!

I love it. Watched a few live games when I was over there and I still really get into it on TV here.

My Aussie family all support Richmond, whereas I follow the United of AFL.

I used to watch it, when Hawthorns were dominating, I'll watch it, if it's on TV but I'm not going to seek out coverage on the internet if it's not.

I hate League and am much more of a Union fan. I hate Leeds Rhinos and their fans with a passion so that might have something to do with it.

I think you guys are most likley at the moment. Such good management of young guys into the team. Always been the Geelong way. Just hope my boys can do a number on you this weekend!:)

My Mrs likes Geelong. I put it down to the cat on the old change jersey and the fact that she fancies Hawkins.

How is karmichael hunt doing in the AFL?
A massive change from RL to Aussie rules.
Has become a reasonable footballer, scored the winning goal after the siren one game.

As for AFL I'm a Perth boy born and bred, I'll take my mighty West Coast Eagles to the grave with me.
