I just hope the picture of him in the shirt at the training ground never surfaces. Rebrab I think it was said there was one taken in the daylight iirc

I would change your sig as well bubble. :)

Best of luck to Willian, no hard feelings towards him in the slightest. Joorabchian and RA/JM can go and play in the road but I still have love for Willian.

JM is right we have not been weakened. He may though have just given some added determination to our squad to outdo Chelski. It will be interesting to see how Oscar, Hazard, Willian, Torres cope with Kaboul, Sandro, Paulinho, Capoue, Dembele and co when we meet
a few extra loo rolls will be required for the visitors dressing room

I'm sure there is an excellent debate and worthwhile sharing of opinions going on in here but can someone not lock this thread now and throw away the key?

Time to lock. Atleast until he fails to gain his work permit and we are linked with him in January.

This is what I would like to see. Next time we play Chavski, Sandro tackles Willian so hard it rips his leg clean off, which spins across the pitch and decapitates Terry and Cole. The blood spurting out of their necks drowns Jose standing on the touchline. Abramovich, sitting in the front row of the top tier, is so nauseated that he gets dizzy and pitches over the edge, clutching Kia who is sitting next to him and dragging him over as well.

I'm off for a lie down.

I honestly dont think Willian deserves any abuse for this decision. There are 2 scenarios and neither can be blamed on Willian.

The first is that Chelsea offered more to Anzhi than we did so Anzhi pulled the plug on our deal. Chelsea did a similar thing with Oscar after we agreed a fee.

The second is that Willian chose Chelsea over Spurs which is just the same as when he originally chose Spurs over Liverpool. He went from a club not in Europe, to a club in the Europa League to a club in the Champions League in a week.

As far as those who blame him for going to Chelsea because they already have plenty of attacking midfielders I still dont think it matters to him. He is a confident young lad and I'm sure he believes he will be good enough to start for them.

I just hate Chelsea with a passion and the shear arrogance and bully mentality they show in the transfer window. Unfortunately with money comes power. I say fuck them, we have a great team and great spirit here so it's his loss not ours.

Hopefully we can let this thread die now so we can move onto those who want to be a part of this exciting project we're building at this great club.

I somewhat disagree if things went as far down the line as info suggests. Had medical, had promo photos taken, had agreed terms, was there to finalize the deal. I can understand why he chose Chelsea, but not that classy to backtrack on that point.

It could be a blessing in disguise, no hard feelings, I'm over it already and if we secure Chiriches, Eriksen and Lamela then I think we will all be more than happy.

I'm hoping THFC has learnt from this with just over a week to go and we are more ruthless with our transfer dealings; could benefit us as a learning experience for the small time we have left.

But Chelsea only came in for him when he was at the club to finalise the deal. As far as Willian was concerned Spurs were his best choice at the time. It's not like he chose us over Chelsea and then changed his mind. Chelsea weren't an option for him at that time.

Is there anyone more ruthless than Levy? We got fucked on this one, plain and simple. Let's move on take 6 points off the class-less ****s.
