I agree with the rest, but the above

We have a youngster called Veljkovic, he seems to get high praise from what i have seen.
If not then Kaboul to play both cup games with Verts and Dawson the league game

Then Dawson and Verts take a game each for the cup. So Dawson tomorrow and Verts next week. Should keep everyone fresh and i hope Kaboul can play both games

The banner looks awesome as usual.. how do you get that cool effect on the players?

How do you "know" this? I haven't seen any announcement by the club that he hasn't got a work permit yet. I initially thought he wouldn't need one since EU nationals don't, but apparently Romania and Bulgaria are excluded but I can't find out why.

Because AVB said it, matey. Ah, Spurs_Bear got there first! (Cheers SB)

Based on yesterdays traning, Tromsø will line up like this:

----------------------Sahlman-------------------

Causevic---Koppinen------Fojut----Kristiansen

-------------Johansen----Pritchard-----------

Moldskred---------Bendiksen------------Drage

--------------------Ondrasek-------------------

This would mean that the rumors of them considereing to rest important players can be shelved. Can't see to many threats here. Moldskred used to be somewhat pacy, and will probabably look to get in behind our high line. Drage is a more tricky winger with useful crossing abilities.
Ondrasek is a poacher.
Kristiansen is a quite quick player that's been mentioned as a contender for the national team.
Koppinen is the guy that equalised for Rosenborg against Chelsea at the Library some years ago, prompting Abramovich to give Mourinho the sack.

I reckon their main approach will be to whack the ball in behind our high line, and obviously make the most of set pieces (Johansen and Drage will deliver decent "serves") with Koppinen and Ondrasek the main threats.

Should be a piece of cake, though. 4-0 Spurs.

When asked if Tottenham had any weaknesses they could take advantage of, Tromsø-coach Agnar Christensen said they will try to get behind our central defenders often, and that they must move fast when they win the ball, cause we are disorganised then.

Seems like Tromso will be sending out a weak squad as they seem to be struggling after having a good season last year. Think any side we put out should win comfortably, and tbh even if they had their full strength squad I'd still have it down as a comfortable game. Hopefully I can sort out some tickets for the away fixture, really nice town is Tromso.

Get behind the defence?! first they need to get behind Sandro!!

Yes, I'd be shocked if they actually provide any offensive threat, my worst case scenario is them being able to shut the game down. Steinar Nilsen have come in as an assistant coach to help them defensibly, and that really paid off against Rosenborg. We should be so much better, however, that anything but a comfortable win will be embarrassing, especially to me as a Norwegian.

Tottenham kick off their Europa League Group K campaign with a home clash with Norwegian side Tromso on Thursday night (8.05pm).
Spurs reached the quarter-finals of the competition last season and they will be looking to improve on that this term.
Andre Villas-Boas' side have started the Premier League season well with three wins from four games, but the Portuguese is expected to make a number of changes to his side for the Europa League.
Wingers Aaron Lennon (foot) and Nacer Chadli (hip) are both ruled out through injury, while midfielder Etienne Capoue is sidelined with an ankle problem.
Jermain Defoe could be in line for a rare start, but Emmanuel Adebayor is not in the first-team plans of Villas-Boas and continues to train with the development squad.
Romanian defender Vlad Chiriches could also make his debut Tottenham after winning his work permit.
Tromso only reached the group stages of the Europa League after Besiktas - who beat them in qualifying - were kicked out of the competition for their part in match-fixing scandal in Turkey.
Defender Hans Norybe is set to miss out for the Norwegians after suffering a broken nose in last weekend's win over Rosenborg.
Tromso coach Agnar Christensen is sweating on the fitness of midfielder Magnus Andersen as he battles with an ankle injury, while Ruben Kristiansen and Jaroslaw Fojut should be fit to play after recovering from illness.

Funny that Sky report it like that, yet Sessegnon had a massive yellow bar scrolling across the bottom of their screen for most of the afternoon?

Looking at teh training pics from yesterday i would expect to see Lamala, Dembele, Kaboul and Kane all involved. I'd hope Holtby gets a start as this is his platform. The team in the large should be similar to the one we put out against Villa on Tuesday night with the magority of the team for Cardiff rested in those two games i.e. Hugo, Paulinho, Verts, Soldado, Eriksen etc
