Why are you pretending that playing football is vital to a manager when more and more coaches show it is not. Mourinho and Klopp didn't win multiple titles as players, they are pretty good managers though.
The point about if Tim's lack of managerial experience is very valid when discussing his tenure as he is showing why people can't start at the top. He is clueless, classless and unable to handle the pressure. If we consider that he was going to be given half a season in charge people have a right to moan that we didn't look for someone more proven
Klopp and Mou still played the game just not to the highest level. I think the most important trait in coaches is that they can reinvent themselves and keep up with the game.
