I think Sandro is a twat to be honest. He doesn't deserve any special treatment but let's hope you lot get a foreign manager to wank over soon.
Or maybe at least a manager that is actually a manager and not a guy wit 0.0 yrs experience managing football clubs.

Sandro is the dick, not sherwood. I applaud sherwood's honesty. He could have said some bullshit that he didnt think he was match fit yet, but it was sandro that put sherwood in that spot with the media with a stupid provcative tweet, so he got what he deserved. What tim said was right, and the right thing to say.

I know tim's probably gone end of season but he's done pretty well. given us back ade, and pushed through kane instead of that fucking churros (spanish donut), and kane's been excellent.

Most of what you've written is fair, but I don't think you can judge him under Redknapp too much as he was learning English and adapting to life and football in England whilst relatively young at the time. He wasn't ready at that point to be our no.1 defensive midfielder at that point in time I don't think.

The point I was trying to make was that I don't think Redknapp rated him; he was probably wrong and it's kinda moot now, but it just adds to the evidence that the fan's general view of Sandro is higher than his actual input on the pitch probably implies.

In 4 seasons, he's been first choice for half a season, and despite a good few great performances, some memorable goals & the likeability of a page 3 girl in a prison, his current status is less secure than we might think.

Well thanks very much Sandro, we did actually manage to get another 3 points without you being in the team and giving away free-kicks just outside our box and constantly passing to the opposition.

Don't be so cruel. He does karate kicks and has a big beard. His such a character.

but the upside is that when it does go to a teammate its perfectly sideways, which is how to score goals from midfield.

I agree,he is a great character,he is like an Ant or a Dec............full of fun and a really nice guy.............I think Sandro will be a star one day on Brazilian TV....but it won't be for being a great footballer.

If Sandro can get back to the form he was under AVB with Dembele and the form under Arry (remember Milan?), then he'll once again be a massive player for us, because when on form he is a quality player.

Hopefully whoever is in charge in the summer can get that form back again.

Remember Wilson Palacios against Arsenal........fucking awesome man!!!!

He can barely get into the Stoke team now.

Remember how Sandro was the best defensive midfielder from August-January when he became injured alongside Dembele in AVB's first season? Remember how he was consistent throughout 'Arry's time here?

Where has this decision that he's suddenly a terrible footballer come from? Because I don't recall people calling him out for being a "sideways passer" last season?

Unfortunately like a lot of players, injuries have taken their toll and the guy has lost that killer instinct and lost that yard of speed.
Its a bit like a boxer after a knock out........he thinks he is as good as he ever was but the reality is, unfortunately very different.

Kaboul, probably yes, but Sandro?

He came back from injury in September as sharp as ever and looked excellent in the games he played in, including Everton.

He's been mismanaged in a shocking season, like a lot of our players.

That's very harsh. I can sort of understand the poor passing argument, but he's not 35, he can regain his fitness with a steady pre-season and a manager that plays him consistently.

I speak with him on occasion and he knows he needs 3-4 games in a row to get going, he's just not had that this season. He does get critical of his own performances and he's usually spot on about when they're not up to par. When he's on song, he really is a beast though, that should not be forgotten.

There's players that when they're missing you think they're better than they are, like when we used to argue about who should play out of Pav and Crouch. Whoever was on the bench was better in my mind back then, until they got on the pitch and I remembered how crap they were. Sandro is the opposite, we don't realise how much we miss him until he actually plays and plays well.

We don't know what goes on behind the scenes - for sandro to put that out I'm guessing he's been treated pretty poorly, I can't stand twitter but I think we can give him the benefit of the doubt this once as he's had no history of problems previously. He might be thinking he owes the fans an explanation etc.
We might as well take the positive that with his injury problems this year he might as well have a good rest, come back under the new manager and have a strong pre season & hopefully get back to his form of pre knee injury when he was the first name on the team sheet.
I could of course be wrong and my dislike of tim is clouding my judgement on this one but that's my view for what it's worth.

Its understandable to see the last remaining pro Sherwood guys reacting like this. Declarations like the one from Sandro are only confirming what we all "anti Sherwood" fans suspected all along and that has got them pissed off and confused, so they are now turning against Sandro (one of the most beloved players on the team by both players and fans) because they somehow can't accept what a disgrace Sherwood has turned out to be.

He hasn't played well this season and for me...... he has been a liability on the field.
I said it months ago.........he has been our Michael Dawson in midfield....all heart and no brains.

If you are ever speaking to Sandro again then let him know that a DM really shouldn't be making kamikaze challenges just outside our box every 10 minutes...............he is supposed to be ahead of the game and nullify threats before they get anywhere near our box.
Try working on that because he really sucks as a guitarist.

I can't help but agree, but you seem to be avoiding what I mentioned, the fact he's been unfit. He does need 3-4 games to get going, but once he does I do think he's a very good DM.
