If Sagna went to City, he'd only be a back up player right?

With the FFP thing hanging over City, I wonder if they'll try to sign some up and coming English players? We might get £20m off them for Townsend or they might be forced to accept some player trades. How about Kane and Townsend for Jesus Navas and Dzeko? :playful:

Pep has told Martinez he isn't going anywhere

According to paper in spain, Ancelotti turned down the chance to be highest paid coach in the world to take over from David moyes. Apparently they were willing to pay €18million a year

Barca having a clear out with Adriano, Alves, Tello to go with also barca considering the futures of Roberto, Fabregas, Mascherano, Pedro and Alexis.

Apparently Gotze is unhappy about his playing time:LOL:

Gotze should never have left Dortmund. He's absolutely brilliant and deserves to be a key player - not a back-up.

I thought Barca were facing a transfer ban?

Or have UEFA bottled that as well as bottling banning City?

City's punishment is the biggest in football history tbf. They wont get CL money for 3 seasons which will hurt their FFP next season lol.

As for Barca, they can take it to court of arbitration for sport. So Fifa cant uphold a ban when the nearest date for a court case is in august. So Barca will get it for the winter transfer window and the summer after and perhaps more. So apparently barca are making signings for 2 seasons

I see. thanks. Didn't realise that City are not going to get CL money for 3 seasons. That on top of the 50M fine i guess is a big stick (y)

No as Im aware that is the fine is CL money held back but that could change depending on situation in the next week. Worth remembering that this has nothing to do with UEFA now, its ex lawyers and judges and accountants handing out punishments.
