So...Sherwood confirms he'll be playing in Ledley's testimonial...

We should play him out wide on one of the wings and see how he fucking likes playing out of position, the daft ****

Good choice as well.

Freund coached the U21 in Germany or youth teams and done a great job there, maybe he could fit into FDB plans if he comes and has a former player that he can coach, which what they do at Ajax.
My issue is who made that choice, it should be for the head coach to decide who he wants to be his assistant not Levy. Furthermore it doesn't make much sense that Sherwood got the nod for caretaker role ahead of him.

That press conference was a farce and for once I can't blame Sherwood. The club have left him in a very awkward position.

We are a shambles at the moment :(
Simon Felstein is a bit shit at his job, we need press man in the Malcolm Tucker mould who will scare the living fuck out of journalists and make Daniel a bit more media compliant.

(If you didn't know, it's really not safe for work or with small children in earshot)

Instead we have a kitten whose lines lead to more questions rather than shutting down debate. Crackers even said that the press asked Tim the management question at West Ham after specifically being told not to

Ugh. I've never wanted a season over so much before. Or as many people tortured and killed.

This fucking club!

Not saying that wasn't the case but I have seen any reports that AVB wanted Freund as his assistant

I don't think AvB had a dedicated number two in his entourage Mullers, there was a clear position available, i imagine Steffen and Andre had a chat first.

@TheBlueRooster - Spam, really?

If the players and agents are all talking about TS being gone, where do you think that is coming from? Agents are talking to Levy about wanting out, Levy is assuring them changes are coming, Agents are telling players.

Its the worst kept secret in football, so no need for Levy to get his knickers in a bunch if de Boer acknowledges what the rest of the world already knows.

Spam? Sorry mate didn't know I'd done it must have been fingers on phone. I don't Spam or neg rep anybody. I feel everyone has I right to say what they like wether I agree or not.

That latest sky sports interview confirms only one thing and that Sherwood is gone. The spurs media guy had to stop Sherwood in his tracks at one point as he was letting on to much information saying how agents and players are telling him he will be gone. No doubt Sherwood is gone and he knows this.

I would have sympathy if he was a likable character but I think he comes across like a **** so fuck him!

One of the reasons I feel for the guy he should never have been put in this position in the first place. I just want this farce to be over on Sunday so he get on with whatever he can do.

Thanks for the effort Tim but at the moment you're not up to the job.

Trust me, I have many issues with Levy.

If he just tweaked himself just a little, he could become one of the best directors in football. Problem is though, he wont and time and time again he has completely fail to support the managers.

If Levy supported FDB (If we get him) 100% and gave the footballing reigns to him and gave him real proper time ( I think at least 5 years to fully implement the cultural and footballing change required), whilst Levy managed the business side and provided the money, it is a clear clear winner... But Levy wont do this, he needs a serious slap...

We have been challenging for a CL spot for most of the last 7 years. For a club with our resources, and compared to the 20 years prior that is a success. I guess how big is subjective but when take as a whole with the other achievements (academy/training facilities/new stadium soon) I think it's been a pretty major success.
I wouldn't call challenging for a CL spot huge success, I mean it's success but then so is staying in the premier league. The other achievements it remains to be seen really.
If Redknapp had made better use of the squad he had I think we could have been even more successful on the pitch. Not just pissing away CL two years running, but pissing away a cup semi against a Chelsea team two places below us embarrassingly as well as losing a cc cup final.

We could very easily have had two trophies and two /three more. CL seasons.
Could have, should have, but we weren't.
We have one Carling cup victory, the same as Swansea and Birmingham and one CL appearance, the same as Leeds and Newcastle. If your giving deserved criticism to Redknapp then surely some of criticism should go to Levy who appointed Redknapp and forced him to abandon his DOF system.

Fuck him i say. I bet he was in Levy's ear telling him to sack AVB and that he could do a better job.

Probabaly worked out that it would be difficult to get someone decent halfway through the season and chanced his arm.

Unfortunately, he didn't reckon on his complete lack of experience, talent and man management.

Well you reap what you sow Tim! Don't forget to close the door on your way out!

Well apparently is terrible at the media and seems completely without a clue or that's what I was told by commentator on C More last weekend at spammers game. He actually laughed when talking about Freund and Steffens commentator duties on Eurosport and said hope he coaches the game better than he talks about it.

Actually he was assistant on U20 level (Ramsey has been head coach of national side on U20), not U21/U23. Managed on younger national teams U16/U17.

Still love the fella though.

I knew it was something like that, but he had done really well apparently. So I hope whoever comes in can find a suitable position for him. I.e similar what he did in Germany for us.

So the moral of the story, players need a manager that commands their respect.
The best that is available appears to be FDB.
