Well, after that incredible result, I'm expecting a real tight contest with Argentina-Holland.

Can't wait!

I used my first ever 'triple facepalm' during this WC.

However, tonight's events truly deserve:

Says a lot that Fred was the one being booed by the Brazilian fans. If anything he was the one least responsible for that mess.

I'm still in shock. Did that really happen? Did someone say Sharron form Eastenders was Hot?

On another point, the 3rd/4th match could be equally uncomfortable viewing if your of Brazilian persuasion - they will be absolutely shot mentally!

It will lift the Argies as much as it will heighten the support of Holland.

I still think this will be Messi's world cup. Never known a player like him, and he seems to love the big occasions.

I guess there's an overflow of Karma due then. ;)

Well all the professional models the Brazilian FA pays to tun up to games did a pretty good job of fake crying tonight.

On the same note, does anyone else think David Luiz's tears were a carefully orchestrated attempt to deflect public anger? He didn't start crying until 5 minutes after the full time whistle, couldn't give a shit about running 5 yards during the game, and stayed on the pitch on his own after the game to make sure he got filmed by as many cameras as possible to show how much he 'cares'.

A completely and utterly vile fraud of a footballer.

Yup, Argentina are my team now. If Argentina win it, Messi must surely be regarded as the greatest player of all time.

Some serious hate for brazil on here - not sure I get that.

Probably because the way they play the game is based around cheating, diving, committing fouls high up the pitch, and their enormous sense of entitlement during this entire world cup?

Totally agree. Everything he did after the match was a complete Sideshow, Bobbins...
