Although Townsend kept hold of it too long, he still did well enough. He's a lot better on that left hand side, he can create more.

Only pre-season etc., but Holtby has never been this good in a Spurs shirt.

It's amazing how it looks like we have so many midfield options now without having made a single signing. No way will Paulinho and Dembele just be allowed to waltz back in.

really enjoyed watching the team pressing, and love how the team return to their defensive shape after an attack.

I know its a weak celtic, but its also a weak spurs.

looking forward to the second half and a look at lamela

Did anyone mention how good Capoue is?

This still always springs to mind ...

great ball from Kane to set Townsend away, townsend did his usual trick and tried to dribble the world, manage to keep the ball just when it look like the attack was fizzling out, kane managed to touch it to capoue who drove forward and played a clever ball to lewis, who first touch put him clear on goal to hit it low under the gk.
think Kane and Capoue were the standout players of the first half against mediocre opposition

Holtby is more than welcome to make the RM position in our first XI his own.

Playing fantastic down the right, he'd link up fantastically with Lamela, Eriksen and Soldado.
