Rub some cream on it JJ, then spill the beans.
I know this is a joke but as much as I'd want to know everything about our transfer dealings, if JJ says particular info is too sensitive, I'd rather not know...

Things starting to hot up but nothing imminent apart from Yedlin i believe.
Cant divulge anything on MS or MM as too sensitive.still confident on 1 of them.
Also outgoing players is sensitive too as will become apparent, nothing sinister but still in negotiations.
I think the best thing that could come off for all parties if the money is right is.. QPR to get Townsend as we will then go for one of the many names that has been reeled off in the press.(cant spill on who though)!!
Enjoy your day at WHL if you are going and i will be doing the nudey run at HT....

I hope we keep hold of Bobby until January at the very least. I really want to see what he can do under Poch before we even think about letting him go.

Wouldn't mind letting go of Townsend as long as we had a buy back clause. £20m in case he rips it up would be nice.

Well, at least JJ has said that something is going on with Schneiderlin- it shows we haven't given up on him which is good enough for me (at this moment in time).

Siggy gone and potentially Daws and Townsend going. Surely this is very bad for our homegrown quota...

It seems that Poch likes Townsend....it would surly have to be £10m plus...

I've gone back and read it three times, and he didn't quite say that. Maybe your interpretation is right, though.
Changing Townsend for a real proper left sided forward is the best bit, in my opinion.

Well if the things going of with MS are too sensitive, then it's pretty obvious something is happening behind the scenes.

Could the sensitivities on incomings AND outgoings be related to potential players going to Soton in return for Schneiderlin?

Walker, Naughton, Rose, Davies, Lennon, Kane, Mason, Fryers, Carroll. That's nine, and with Schneiderlin it's ten.

However, including Ekotto, we have 18 foreigners. I guess he won't be registered, though, and we can live without Friedel as well. Also, if we get Schneiderlin, that's probably a foreign midfielder gone.

Quite happy to not know anything if we can pull off deals for the remaining on the top of our wish list.(y)

This window could be fucking epic; poch coming in and just spotting all of the flaws we've all been aware of for so long..

I understand your point, and hope you are right. But, JJ used the term "sensitive" for both MM and MS, and said he was still confident of ONE of them..

Can't see us listing both Mason & Carroll, more likely one or the other. Kane & Davies I don't believe need to be included due to their age. Naughton has been suggested as looking to go, though if the supposed Yedlin deal is indeed for January onwards, would we let Naughton go?

Ideally I'd say we need to keep
Walker, Naughton, Rose, Fryers, Lennon, Townsend and one of Carroll/Mason. That's still only 7, but that just means we may only list 24 players. 17 foreign players is the key number nowadays.

Archer, Frederiks, Davies, Dier, Velkovic, Bentaleb, Pritchard & Kane
All exempt from needing to be named in the 25 man squad.
