Don't see how people can moan about this when we so nearly benefited from the same ruling several windows again when attempting to sign Moutinho... I'm sure at the time we weren't sitting there complaining.

Still, it is a stupid rule and it'd make more sense to remove it, why deals are still being done with a few hours to go in a transfer window which lasts around two months is beyond me.

We sold our two most passionate players and are yet to sign a LWF and a CF. Its very depressing news, and lets be honest its nothing new. But the players that have already been bought look like sensible additions to address our poor defence.

There is no point in signing secondary options as they just leave the next window (Dempsey) the big example. I am sure that we will at least go back in for JR and MS come January. We need our current players to settle into this new Pochettino style, throwing a host of new faces into that will be a lengthy process. However the most strongest principle is the fact that we will never be able to fire 100% in the window's until our new stadium is built.

Manu have done well.

The slags.

Just wish we could've picked up Welbeck.

Have they? They have a woeful defence and their central midfield is not that great. Are they just going to try to rely on a tactic consisting of scoring more than they concede?

Edit: Another thing. People are still laughing at us for spending so much last season. United have well surpassed that and if they do not get top 4 they deserve even more criticism. They'll be a laughing stock.

Steve Bruce has long been an underrated manager. Thats a really nice squad he has assembled there, and with the former Spurs lads I'll continue to be keeping an eye on their results. Bruce's Wigan team that he assembled was arguably stronger than Martinez's, people may laugh but I think he may have a couple of rungs further up the ladder still to go on his career.

Yet they still will finish above us.

Weird n'est pas?

Not sure about United yet, but Arsenal will. Outside of Chelsea and City, everybody around and above us lacks something. It's just a case of who has the better team outside of those missing players.

All of these deals will go through, I'm sure every deal that gets done benefits the FA financially so it wouldn't make sense to stop them going through. As many have said though, why deals are being done this late is beyond me.

Mate. Their signing of falco (sic) elevates them above us by a factor of 7. And that's where we will finish if we play to our optimum level.

Take a bow mr levy. Then sack poch when the inevitable happens.

They're still going to ship goals Ossie style, so I really wouldn't be so sure.

Anyway, at our optimum level, as you say, we should beat Everton to 6th at least, even though they too are a good team.

They are not to ship goals Ossie style

I am very sure they will concede less goals than us over the season

United also got 2 PL loans for their youngters. And shipped one off to a PL club on a perm(although im sure theres a large sell on or a buy back in there). Yet we supposedly have the best academy in europe and canonly mange 1 pl loan and 3 championship loans. Oh and the 2 league 2 loans! Cant forget that!

Whoever thinks we have the best academy in Europe should never think again
