The fact remains it was an event which occurred in the relevant thread and included specific discussion within that thread, and then an overarching connection made, which is a segue made in almost every thread in almost every forum on a daily basis. It was a touchy subject, and it's fair enough if you were offended and I apologize if you were, but the setting was not inappropriate. So the player thread would not have been as relevant considering the point was about discussion being made in the thread at hand.
You were offended and you may disagree; but isolating points, misinterpreting them, and pigeonholing them is not a justifiable reaction to a point appropriately made, however much it may justifiably grate you.
So if you disagree, call me a **** and that's fair. No need to try and take a swing at the argument by chopping it up into various pieces and attacking them by insinuating they weren't connected in the first place.
