Great thread. Lot of hissy fit fighting, accusations of admin bias and general complaining. AND we got to talk about A Dick

Great stuff lads and lassies, kept me from having to work for a few hours.

Just seen Rose goal, nice to see his desire once again to get in the box and score.

It worries me that this is what our central midfielders should be looking to do, and only Mason and Paulinho (when he rarely plays) really push in to the box when the striker drifts out wide.

Fair play to him though, he did the same against Chelsea and got the rewards.

I must say, I am not a Capoue fan, but having just seen the highlights at halftime on BBC it appears Capoue has done a few good things. Credit where credit's due,.... good on ya tonight Etienne (y)

but that position is Bentaleb's without question :pompous:
The way he struck the goal was a bit like Eder of the 1982 Brazil team, the greatest team that I have ever seen.

Glad that we won and gave a run out to a few players who normally don't get to play. Sky certainly let me down today as no broadcast on any of the regular channels, Planet Football, Fox Sports Latin America and ESPN. BBC radio 5 broadcast for some ridiculous reason not available over here in the land of the Mayas either.Nor could I find a stream to watch consequently I'm very grateful for all the posters on this forum who kept me up to date with the score.

I thought the complaining was at a minimum today. There was generally an air of positivity.

I said a few weeks back when we were playing badly but scraping victories that as long as we're there or there abouts in the PL + cups once our play improves, then we're in with a great chance this season. Leicester (H) is very winnable as is Sheff Utd over 2 legs - If we can be in the final of a cup comp, the last 16 of another while still fighting for top 4 and European honours despite everything that has happened this season then we're doing bloody well. Our players get a lot of unwarranted stick, especially the fringe players (there seems to be an attitude of "if you're not world class, you're championship level, fuck off"), but these players are vitally important for us to continue over 4 competitions. Paulinho is a great example; many have written him off and want rid at basically any cost, but this is a midfielder who scored vital goals last season and can do the same again this season now that he's rested. If you can't get behind the whole team regardless of who plays, then you are a championship level fan and I sincerely hope you are the one who fucks off.

COYS.
