Eventually, yeah, mostly due to Bale being shifted forwards and BAE being injured.
I recall Redknapp said something like to be a top player he'd have to play at left back. I think he's much better in midfield due to his pace and energy, and the reluctance to use those to defend

He waited by the 4th official, then when the ref gave the OK, he just trotted over the white line & that was it.

Conclusions:
1.If Capoue would perform like that everytime he would be be in the first eleven.
2.Bobby is finished at spurs. Although he got a couple of assists we scored four and as are main striker tonight he didn't even get one of them.
3.If Kaboul hadn't been on the pitch tonight good chance Vorm would of kept a clean sheet.
4.Townsend need to watch the video of that that game over and over again and use it as a template going forward.
5.Poch deserves way more credit for what he has done in the cup games this season. Last 32 in Europe, semis of capital and next round here with mainly a 2nd string side.

Did you see it? I'm curious as to Capoue's defensive contribution, and general play aside from the goal. If he can turn a corner in his attitude and alleged work rate concerns in training, I'd love to see him manage to contribute.
