Only played a bit at the end, but I feel Stambouli has really been coming along the last few games.

Still mulling it over. Harry MOM(8+) at the moment but Eriksen(8) and Lloris(8) crucial roles.
How can we totally dominate possession
and win easily and have our keeper as MOM.
Funny old game ( Jimmy Greaves(11))
Average team made three golden chances against us.
But two goal Kane completely out of socks again gets my vote
Eriksen always positively involved, makes it easy for others to play
and started it all off nice and early.
It's easier to grade when we play poorly than when we play well which we did.
Dembele (7+) caught the eye again.
Lamela(7) is getting there at last.
Verts (7) boringly sound
Fazio (7-) has his moments
Rose(7)
Paulinho 6+
Mason (7-) Bit random at times.
Wild card Walker (7) more positivity this week.
Looks like Kane again.
Good result away to a team that we lost to away.
Pulis effect totall nullified.

Yep. He's not the most mobile of players, but his positioning, passing, and general understanding of his role in Poch's system has come on leaps and bounds. He was excellent against the Blades IMO.

Lloris - 8 - Did what was needed to an exceptional stadard at crucial moments. I think Berahino was amazed to see how fast Lloris was at him in the latter stages after Fazio's short back pass. Nearly MotM.

Walker - 6.5 - Worked better in attack than recently, especially with Lamela, and defended capably.

Fazio - 6.5 - the customary combination of fine defending and brain-attacks (that back pass...). Caught for pace a few times, but stayed in position.

Vertonghen - 7 - A very good game - came forward at intelligent times.

Rose - 7.5 - Was excellent today. Direct, combative attacking and organised, fierce defending - top clearance from Lloris' save to avoid conceding.

Mason - 6 - Competent, workmanlike, nothing exciting.

Dembele - 7 - Another good outing retaining possession high up the pitch and an assist (end product!) for his efforts.

Paulinho - 6 - That's 5 for the first half, but 7 for the second half, when he won the ball several times and was much more committed.

Lamela - 6.5 - As recently, a lot of good midfield play and hard tackling, but sans magic.

Eriksen - 7.5 - Stayed involved, passed well, tracked back OK, scored another wonderful FK.

Kane - 8 - Constantly in the defenders' faces, scored a goal that is actually a lot better than it looked at first glance, held the ball up werll and took a nerveless penalty (was that his first since he missed one at 18?). MotM by a whisker.

Stambouli - 6.5 - Looked good: strong, direct, in control.

Chadli - 6 - Strong in possession.

Soldado - NET really, but when he got involved, he did well.

He that one in UEFA this year where there was that GK injury and the play stopped for a long time... handy for me, we arrived in our seats and waited for the pen. Was a tough one, huge time gap in being given and taken,

Mason - 7

Lamela - 7

Kane - 8

Re: my lowest scores

Walker frustrates at times. He needs to remember his job first and foremost is to defend. Not to try and attempt unnecessary dribbles thinking he's a forward.

Pauli is showing some improvement. However he needs to sack up some more and take more risks. Having said that, I'm starting to warm up to the idea that he still may yet have something to offer.

I honestly think that if Poch had played Stambouli instead Paulhino and allowed Dembele to play more forward as he did against Sheff Utd, the win would have been more comprehensive.

9 Lloris MOM
8 Kane Eriksen
7.5 Dembele Rose
7 Fazio Verts Lamela
6 Mason (Knackered)
5 Paulhino (Would have been lower but improved 2nd half) Walker (He worries me)

Totally agree with these ratings!

Thght dembele was really good.i thght he was on his way out but start to play better, further forward.

pauli wasdecent second half too. Both players look better in a 433.

Kane, eriksen, lloris were fantastic. Class players.

That was the strangest and rarest of Spurs games...one in which we won comfortably without any harrowing collapses or last-minute heroics necessary. But it wouldn't have been so, if not for Lloris' usual amazing performance, which stopped them getting back into the match when they should have, in the second part of the first half, when we sort of went to sleep.

Verts plays so much better with Fazio beside him than with any other pairing.
Kane as lone striker forever please. Sorry Harry you will have to play every game, and please don't get injured.
Dembele was actually rather good, we all know he has it in him. It just doesn't come out as often as we might hope.
Rose was very good. And has been most of the season, bizarre how some are always down on him.
Lloris is out of this world. Every single game he seems to do something amazing. As someone mentioned above, for the the keeper to be MOM in a game we won 3-0 and dominated possession is a strange thing, but seems completely right.

Really good performance today as a collective unit, nice to see there is a great spirit among those boys. Jan and fazio such a good combo for me and I thought rose and walker were excellent beside them today and Hugo well I've run out of superlatives for him!
Paulinho poor first half but good 2nd, mason ok but I'm still not convinced.
Lamela eriksen and dembele looked a very good 3, not sure if chadli gets back in for the NLD now!
Kane well the boy is just getting better each time I see him and I love the fact he is so grounded. Love his work rate and his finishing is different class, he's proved me and a host of others wrong and I'm delighted.

The most pleasing thing for me recently is that Jan is playing as one of the leaders of the team again. A total contrast to the disinterested and frustrated player we saw last season.

A very good away result. A couple of early bit of clinical quality set us up massively, and though we did lose our way a bit in the middle of the match we got the 3rd goal which effectively killed things off. Job done and now we have a big month of fixtures ahead...

Lloris - Once more, he did his bit. A couple of fantastic saves, especially the one destined for the top corner that he tipped over the bar. Hero.

Walker - Better game from him today. Did ok.

Fazio - I thought he had a poor game to be honest. Pretty much all the chances they had came about from his error or just ropey bits of defending. Still getting caught out on the turn, and in the second half I noticed that he wasn't even attempting to hold the offside line anymore and was just chasing back in because he was scared of getting caught. The Berahino chance that he flashed wide from the angle being an example... For some reason he's ended up 5 yards behind everyone else following Berahino's run. I'm not convinced, and I'd rather see us persist with Dier.

Vertonghen - Solid enough game.

Rose - Ditto. One vital clearance in the second half.

Paulinho - First half was quite poor and a bit aimless. Second half he grew into it and put himself about a bit more. In the end did ok. Needs to improve his passing though, I'm not expecting him to start knocking incisive through balls every other pass, but he tends to hit 'dribbly' passes behind the man and it kills momentum.

Mason - Did ok, but another whose passing let him down at times. A bit careless and at times forced the play when he didn't need to. Got to be a bit more composed and precise at times.

Lamela - Thought he had a very average game, personally. Decent work rate, saw a bit of the ball but anything beyond simple give and go's and moves seemed to break down. A few times when in good positions he was very careless. Still needs to put it all together...

Dembele - Comfortable game spent retaining possession. Standard Dembele on a good day really.

Eriksen - Good freekick to give us the opening early on. Just carried on his good work really... Got on the ball, found space, put in a shift... Long may it continue.

Kane - Emphatic finish for his first, coolly taken penalty for his second. Put in his usual shift and linked up play pretty well. He just keeps going on and on and on...

Subs:
Stambouli - Did ok in the centre of the park. Looks more assured now.
Chadli - Carried the ball well on the break a couple of times. Got involved.
Soldado - n/a.
