July / August 2018 - two or three test games, gradually building up to full capacity in the final pre season game.......v Real Madrid (club "partnership" has to be good for something).

We don't have a partnership anymore.

So. 15 years after ENIC said an increased capacity was top priority, 7 years after the New Stadium thread started, 3 years since the start of the "opening" countdown thread, and we still dont even know the stadium design, the stadium capacity, Who`s paying for it, what its gonna be called, where the club will play there fixtures during construction, or even the aim for completion date !!!!. And just when everyone on here thought Levy and co had overcome the final obstacle and its all systems go.....Abara.. Cadabara.. It now seens a new planning application may be required setting the whole project back another 18-36 months.

And I can guarentee none of the above questions will be clearly answered at tonights meeting with THST

And a few people on here still believe ENIC are "fully focused on delivering the club the new stadium it deserves"

I`ll repeat what I`ve always said. If ENIC are still running our club in 10 years, we`ll still be playing at a 36K WHL.

What exactly do you think we're building? A giant Starbucks?

There's quite a few things I don't like about ENIC/Levy, but they've delivered a wonderful training ground, and have just navigated the last obstacle for the stadium. You're going to look pretty stupid when we're all meeting up for the opening party, and you're left adjusting your tin foil hat.

Spurs is my life. My club. My Passion. And because I don't bow down to ENIC and believe every bit of nonsense they feed us, you think it clever to question my support. I'll be at Burnley on Sunday. I doubt you will. If you are, maybe we can meet in the concourse where you can buy me a drink and apologise you condescending prick

.
We, or rather ENIC, are not building anything yet. Remember, they are an investment company. They're all about making money. If the cost of building the stadium outweighs the profit of any future sale of the club they won't build. Simple as that. I have reason to believe that current construction costs would indeed negate any future sale. Which is why any small delay or hold up is actually a Godsend for them, giving them more time to either a) Scratt around trying find alternative partners OR b) actively pursue a potential buyer for the club BEFORE construction begins. One way or another I am not convinced they are moving heaven and earth to get this thing completed. In other words, the long turn success of the club and the interests of the fans are not among their main priorities

Ok, so just for you, who thinks an avatar that says TOTTENHAM and YID ARMY surrounding a THFC emblem suggests I support Chelsea, I`ve changed it. I suppose my new one reminds you of a lion or something.

I know they cost money. A lot of money. I also know that most owners that have succesfuly re~built do so at a huge financial risk and more often than not at a long term loss in the balance sheet of the holding company. The reason they persist is because they have the long term security of the club and its fans at heart. I also know, and I suspect you probably do to, that ENIC operate with a completely opposite philosophy. They do not take risks. Profit rules. Balance sheets trump all. I have no doubt ENIC would love to see a new stadium built. So long as somebody else foots the bill, or they can see a guarenteed return on their investment.( if you doubt this, explain Stratford) I also know that every time a photo appears of of a bucket or spade on the "construction site" people like you fall into a state of euphoria and all of a sudden the pilings are finished and the naming rights are about to be released.
