I agree HOWEVER if we were to be in a final or playing Barcelona or etc.

I might get one but would prefer one that didn't have the other team on it

Like match programs?

Can't people enjoy football as a neutral without inciting psychopathic rage

I don't have a problem with commemorative half and half scarves for testimonials, memorials, exhibition or friendlies that carry a particular message or are held for specific reasons (For example, if a memorial match between Hearts & Spurs was proposed, to honour the memory of Dave McKay, i would have no problems with a half/half scarf, or a match between Liverpool & Juve to respect the 39 who died at Heysel), but it seems that the roadside bootleggers are knocking them up for every match they can get within a mile of. That's a bit sad.

Bit like releasing DVDs whenever a side has an above average game

I fucking hate it when the blokes down the high road start selling Man U scarfs when we play them. No doubt it's for tourists who want to watch United in London but it winds me up.

Got some for CL games I've been to as a souvenir (not to actually wear). I think in Europe it's okay provided it's not two teams from the same league, but yeah, half/half scarves for league games are an abomination

Agreed, although I treasure my half spurs half Blackpool scarf and long for the day I can wear it again................

Do I fuck, what a pointless waste of money, just don't get it at all

Half and half scarves for the league games are dreadful. Truly awful. I saw a Millwall/Leeds one the other week.. next up, Rangers/Celtic.

That said, when I went to the FC Twente cup game I bought a scarf with the logos from all 4 teams in the group. Wore it at the game (it was bloody freezing that night!) but since then it's been a souvenir.

I've seen a Rangers/Celtic for sale....didn't seem like anyone was buying it, but it was for sale. Remember thinking that there just couldn't be enough muppets who would buy it to warrant it being made.

Might get a Villa/Spurs one this weekend and hang it above the bed. Might stop the wife sleeping in the middle of the bed.
