That's supposedly the proposed stadium approach that goes from WHL station to the new ground.

Passes through where the love lane estate is currently.

This is a picture straight from the front cover of the High Road West approved Master Plan (link above) published September 2014, so not new, covered in the main stadium thread at the time

Thanks for the link, you can begin to see how the high road approach and look of the stadium from the high road will pan out as works progress (assuming that plan is being kept to).

Moselle Square will be a great way to approach the new stadium.

Shame that i rarely come in via WHL station.... Now if they could do a nice approach from the Edmonton Ikea car park that would be great ;)
I'm sure you'll have an interesting approach from Ikea when Enfield Council eventually start building that part of Meridian Water...but that's probably not what you had in mind ;)

That's a proper redevelopment from all parties involved and, I would suspect, owes more to increased usage of WHL than just football.

I think the NFL games may be just the tip of the iceberg and the plan may be closer to Wembley levels of utilisation to justify that kind of station and approach development work.
I would expect gigs, potential NFL franchise, other sporting events etc to be part of the long term plan judging from this.

I would have liked to have seen a new underground approach built to the ground from the Green Dragon in Winchmore Hill but now that the pub is closed I guess there is no point pursuing that idea.

So I understand. I live a lot farther ooop norf now. I believe there are plans for it to become a Waitrose or something similar. Personally I thought its fate would always be to become a block of flats.
I think there is a local campaign to try and keep it as a pub.

It was a huge part in my 'spurs' education.

Is there time to turn the stadium round by 45 degrees yet or are we too far down the line? :cautious:
