All of these. Obvs I meant TS, but I'm calling him TW from now on.

Fair enough. Ade scored 5 in the last dozen or so games under sherwood. I think we'd sooner see Benteke struggle at another club than Ade struggle under sherwood.

I bet Ade and Sherwood could do as much for each other at Villa as they did with us.

Positive stuff by JJ and dare I say it confirmation that Alderweireld situation changed?

Like the team player ethos too, what a refreshing change, hopefully we can show Brenton and the bindippers how to operate.

Btw check the Toby thread as there's been positive news in there tonight.

We were interested in Clasie at some point this year, but perhaps someone even better came along!
I think it maybe that someone is a better fit - which makes them better for us, but not necessarily better in an abstract sense...

Clasie strikes me as more offensively minded, and we may be looking for a different skill set, either more defensive, or just more well-rounded.

I have my reservations about the whole NFL thing but I guess it just generally ups our status on the world stage.

I think that sort of announcement would really show our ambition to go places, and is even particularly important for our existing key players. Kane, Eriksen, Vertonghen, Lloris etc can see us linked to a brand such as the NFL and can appreciate how relevant and important we can become. It'll be huge financially which is great, and will get us a much better deal for naming rights etc, although i'd prefer the new ground to be 100% our home I think.

But, on the whole it's encouraging. Along with the training ground and top class academy it seems we have a clear plan going forward. From a transfer perspective, I can certainly see us becoming very attractive to good young players in a couple of years time.

Good news I think, but I just hope the games are kept to a minimum as after all it will be our home.

I would quite like Clasie, but I think it's only because Southampton think they're signing him.

Whoscored did a comparison of Ms and Clasie today. Just underlined what a beast Morgan is sadly. Thoroughly outclassed him on the defensive sides.

Only problem being I can't think of many players that exhibit such strong defensive numbers and have an eye for a pass.

remember people saying that when levy hired poch he wanted to build a club and make things like infrastructures important and get a young squad together hence getting poch, but it does seems like everyone is actually singing from same hymn sheet this time , everything with the stadium, letting poch get his own scouts etc in and now even more shockingly levy not asking for extortionate fees for deadwood

maybe we might actually be at a dawn that isn't false for once but we are spurs so..... lol
